New York Times story has revealed how, in 2019, on Trump's orders, a US Navy Seal Team snuck into North Korea to plant a listening device to monitor Kim Jong-un's communications. They encountered a fishing boat and killed everyone on board.

We love a peace-loving President.

Members of Congress were told in 2021, including Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Mark Warner, Kevin McCarthy, Mitch McConnell and Devin Nunes. None saw the need to make the story public.

Sure but tariffs represented very little of Reaganism so he was on the right track there at least, no?

My point is there can be a place for tariffs. South Korea, for example, used tariffs to become the electronics powerhouse they are now. The point is it was targeted and part of a raft of policies to build the industry, which isn't the case with Trump tariffs.

Sure I get all that. Mine was you were dumping on Regan when tariffs represented little of his approach.

The president appeared in front of reporters in the Oval Office on Friday to sign several executive orders — including the name change of the Department of Defense to the Department of War — when he was asked by CBS’s Jennifer Jacobs, “If the administration has engaged with North Korea,” since the failed mission.

“I don’t know anything about it, no,” Trump responded. “I could look, but I know nothing about it.”

When asked to confirm if the raid happened, the president said again, “I don’t know anything about it. I’m hearing about it now for the first time.”

Is that right Donnie

No that’s my point. Reagan was a free trader, and moves such as CUSFTA were a precursor to NAFTA. These moves hollowed out the US working class and Trump’s success is a rejection of this move. Neither are good approaches to trade!

Not sure if anyone is giving out BOG votes for this thread, but Royces Hart gets my 3, without a doubt. Fantastic stuff!
They jokingly call me the president of BigFooty. They call me the president of BigFooty. Which is an honour. I like Bigfooty. And I like those people. They’re good people.

Who the **** supports this clown? How could they even?
A huge percentage of people who voted for him never see wackiness. They aren't news consumers, and if they consider their viewership of Fox consuming news, then for sure they get a curated view of what he does/is doing. It's only as they see the prices in their local grocery store going up again, or Walmart's, or people starting to lose jobs, are they getting curious about political news.
