2025 List Management Discussion - Part 3

Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

This thread is to discuss all things list management - trades, draft, free agency, delistings and more.
As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.
Be respectful. You are allowed to disagree with someone - but play the ball, not the man. Repeat offenders will have their posting rights revoked.

Thanks to Lore once again for this incredibly useful spreadsheet.

Marcus Windhager

Entirely in st kildas hand. It’s entirely about money.

Both Beveridge and Twomey saying most likely option is he stays.
Marcus would want to work his arse off and become a lock as a starting midfielder for us or one of the best wingman in the game if he's demanding money from us that he hasn't earned yet.

Bed wetters gonna wet bed.

It's not this it will be the next thing in line. Ross, SOS, TDK, NAS, Windy, Wilkie taking bets on what's next.
I havent seen anyone thinking the Wilkie thing is real, its just getting discussed as its in the media.

Gettable saying Collingwood is into Caminiti... Legit seems like these campaigners are just throwing darts at AFL lists.

I reckon Boxshall will keep stepping up and will establish himself in the midfield, so Windy will need to build on what he has, as I think there is more in the tank yet.

If rumours on the Hawks board are to be believed, they're confident on getting an A grade midfielder in Trac or Merrett. Both will come at a high price. Im not sure about their pick situation, but does anyone with knowledge regarding that think this means Cam Mckenzie could be on the trade table in return for a high pick?

I cannot stress enough, that this information is coming from the bedroom of a key participant in these events.

I've been on here for 15 years, you need to ask yourself if I'd throw that reputation away if I didn't have concrete info.
Sounds like either Cal is lying to me, or his missus is lying to you..

it doesn’t have to be a lie, things can change quickly. I’ve said some things while venting that I don’t mean literally, would hate to have my friends leak my stuff to the media 😂

Chinese whispers is the more realistic option. One man’s vent is another girls reality

What a wasted talent Billings was. Hard to tell if it was natural progression of others that left him behind, or gifting of games when he and others probably didn’t deserve it, which naturally made them think they had made it before learning what the actual hard work was.

Real lost era for the club

He's too good to not be on a list. Someone like Collingwood might be able to revive him as depth and then who knows.

Is Acres the last man standing from that era? He may not have been the GOAT in the end but perhaps the GOTE Greatest Of That Era.

We're bonkers if we consider trading a 21 y.o key position player who can play at both ends of the ground.

There's question marks all over our KPP stocks in terms of getting on the park, so even if we think he's not in our best 23, he's gonna play plenty of AFL footy next year and beyond.
