  • Motlop 50/50. Stays if we can’t land Butters

#Bluemour

Hang on .. does this mean Butters is 50/50 ? ;)

I really like Mots and think he's grown a lot this season, but (and I think I probably speak for most of us when I say this) if he's going to help get a Butters deal over the line, I'd happily drive him to Adelaide myself.

I am mostly a viewer on here but on so many times a day.
I live in WA don't know any blues players past or present so get no info .
Have been a member 14 years in a row but followed us since 1992,over the years I have told family and friends not joining next year but keep paying up, for some reason I haven't said it this year.

Reading this thread today I go from enthusiastic to despair , unreal what an unlikable person a legend of a player in sos is.
He lost me sitting in his car while his son was congratulated on his 100th game in the rooms and rest of the family were there .

Depth is hard to assess. We have had 3-5 more injuries than most finals sides this year. Everyone struggles when they are missing 6 plus best 22 players like we did for a lot of the season and it is magnified when out of our 15 best players maybe only Williams and Hewett had a season they would be happy with.
It's also the lack continuity when those players come.back

SOS left Darcy Fogarty on the draft table when he was available to us - why? He would have been competing with Jack. Can’t see him wanting Harry Dean to potentially impact on Jacks position at the Saints. Mind you, he’s got the $ he wanted for his son already…

Pretty sure Fogarty was one of those players who made it abundantly clear to all clubs that being drafted by an interstate team would result in a very early trade request back to SA.

Some of the posters here are just fundamentally opposed to the concept of trading Charlie 😂. Also copped it when I shared the intel Sydney were into him back in July.

Which is fine, I guess. Just doesn’t make for much productive discussion on here when it’s a very real chance of happening haha.

Very much of the view that losing him will not hurt us as much as many think.

Yes he’s a star but his absence would open up all sorts of possibilities for us.

Nobody’s going anywhere
We love all the boys

I’m a REAL supporter !! 😂😂

100% if it’s Matt Rowell

IMO. The below will be elsewhere next year or at Carlton, because no one wants them.

Curnow - GONE - I’d rather move on a (leadership group 🤷‍♂️) player that wants out and has sooky tendencies on field when things aren’t going his way.

Motlop - GONE - with a reported deal on the table. Obviously it’s lowballed to avoid DFA, either the club are looking to trade him or he’s looking for a better deal.

McGovern - GONE - Khamis comes in, Voss saying he wants him to stay, to try and pump up his value. Reports multiple clubs have inquired, hopefully a mini bidding war.

Hollands - GONE - Club forced, enough said 😭

Acres - GONE - Think he’ll be part of the Chesser deal.

To be fair to Mary, Snapper doesn’t speak for anyone with half a brain
I don’t care about either of them.

I think his opinions are perpetually negative… and hers are happy clapper.

I’m somewhere in the middle.

I think anyone who gets riled up by a person calling himself Snapper needs to reevaluate their life.
