It's not a myth. Its true. But the next line is "but not everyone performs in Navy Blue"Yeah... that's yet another shocker. So we need to stop the "everyone looks better in Navy Blue" myth.

Would he? I'm not sure about that.Me too, but Merrett would be a truckload cheaper...
If it's the Cats:I'm in two minds re Charlie.
I've loved watching him as a player over the years, especially when flying, but also feel he's a little bit too conditional.
I don't particularly want to get rid of him, but if he genuinely wants out for multiple reasons, I also don't want a conditional player who isn't 100% committed. That's also not a reason to off load him for whatever we can get.
In fact Eddie did do the mercurial out of the centre bounce for us on the regular, but back then he'd have an easier time sending it to Murphy, Gibbs, Kreuzer, or lacing it out to Fev.Yeah I'd agree in part, but on the same note in the Essendon game where Motlop took the ball from the centre bounce, ran to 50 and kicked a goal, that's something Eddie never did. So the mecurial moments differ and go both ways.

I'm wary of dealing with Cats for anything other than picks. If it's the Cats:
O'Sullivan and one of Miers/Close/Humphries and some picks....
probably takes the attention away from us for a whileRegardless of Curnow staying or going, I think we can all agree it is playing out far better than the Essendon and Merrett debacle.
I agreeI am 100% Charlie out. He is the sort of conditional player that would give even less of a shit next year and tank his value. Go grab 1-2 gun youngsters and some first rounds picks and send Charlie packing.
I agree it has been a rarity but I think Jordan Clark is doing well at Freo. Lincoln McCarthy was great for Brisbane before his knee injuries, Josh Caddy was a pretty handy player for Richmond and we obviously hope Frankie Evans can join the list.I'm wary of dealing with Cats for anything other than picks.
How many of their players that have been delisted, traded, or left as free agents that have actually gone on to do much of anything?
Ablett.... Tim Kelly maybe, but he doesn't seem to be as good. Anyone else?
He’d want to be able to find the ball more than Cunningham was able to.If Chesser turns out to have similar skill-set and athletic capability to Cuners, then I will be very pleased. We just have to hope that he has a
better run at it, durability wise.

one can go from uber tosser to plain old regular degular tosser....and it will be true.Yeah... that's yet another shocker. So we need to stop the "everyone looks better in Navy Blue" myth.
Yep also explains why we have had so many preventable injuries over the last few years.Wish I could say I was surprised about training standards
Sorry if I’ve missed it, but has anyone with intel on Charlie actually laid out his issues with the club in plain terms? Or are we still guessing at this point?
Except for that 1 bloody game against the Bombers! He’d want to be able to find the ball more than Cunningham was able to.
For all his ability he just couldn’t get involved enough.
Cuningham and Klomp, both most remembered for winning TVs.Except for that 1 bloody game against the Bombers!
3 VOTES!
What’s with it all being so cryptic though? It's gone well beyond simply guessing....
Casual carefree and talented footballer who was winning Coleman's for fun finds out it's not so fun when things aren't going so well and teammates, coaches and supporters are calling out his attitude and application on and off the field. What’s with it all being so cryptic though?
Begging for someone to explain what his issues are like I’m five!
dont jinx usRegardless of Curnow staying or going, I think we can all agree it is playing out far better than the Essendon and Merrett debacle.
Missus/ex she wanted the paper bag money in the divorceIsn't he the fool who started the salary cap debacle
Never tell your missus about paper bag moneyMissus/ex she wanted the paper bag money in the divorce
Oh, crap. Now you've done it.Regardless of Curnow staying or going, I think we can all agree it is playing out far better than the Essendon and Merrett debacle.
