The club is also the one pointing out his poor leadership.
They can say "give us more, he is captain", but it would be ridiculous when they are also publicly saying he's a bad one.

Hawks got a great deal when they sold him (broken and 29) for a 2nd rounder and Lloyd Meek. One of those trades that went down in the last minites of the last day and Freo got completely screwed.

yes, agree, to a point , meek was an unknown commodity at the time and was stuck behind your first 2 choice ruckman.

And has turned out to be very handy for us. it happens, opportunity knocks some times and some times it works and some times it doesn’t
