Will not go into details on this, because he hasn't been our main priority (That's obviously Curnow).

But every interstate club would have had discussions with his management, in particular the clubs that are bigger and fit "brand Petracca".

Sydney do fit his brand.

IF Curnow rules us out for some reason (This has not happened yet and is unlikely with the way his management have behaved), then I would be expecting us to have a strong discussion with the player.

He has also recently been in NSW, so you never know may have already met with us, we have certainly been able to keep trade talks quiet in the past.
It feels too late, though. Once a player of Petracca's quality is linked with a club this late in the day, it doens't normally happen that some third club enters the frame.

As Cadsky once said, people need to stop fretting over contracts that are just worth over $1m and start to worry about thoe contracts around or over $2m. $2m contracts is the new $1m contracts these days. Petracca would be worth every cent if we get him, but I doubt we would though. But we can dream

It was a late decision on his behalf, otherwise why would he be only meeting with Adelaide today?

Player trades are relatively fluid and things change all the time, look at the Dan Houston trade last year a great scenario of this.

Not to mention just because the media haven't spoken about it, doesn't mean nothing has happened.

I was talking to Lewy @ Clarke’s this morning for what it’s worth 😏💀
Always liked Lewy Taylor and had high hopes when he came to us. Oh well, not too be...
Hasn't had the easiest of lives from what I've read

Yeah, mother left early in his life and big Squizzy had to raise three boys on his own. His dad taught him to kick on both sides on his body, despite being a left food mostly. Him and his father are always up for a chat with me about football

Lewy Taylor also won this year's Maskell Medal which is the Hampden League's version of the Brownlow Medal. He had a great season for Terang-Mortlake. Was a shame we just missed out on the finals. We had to just win but lost by 1 pt to Warrnambool.

Ball movement has a say in that. Dumping it on his head won't give him opportunity regardless of him being quite strong overhead. Not the way teams defend these days anyway.

That’s gameplan though and I agree, not having LLoyd make love to father Xmas every kick will help, it’s why I’m for Blakey off one wing and Errol the other both move it quick and get it in.
