It would have to be if he's signing the contract now.Do we know whether it's on the senior list?
You can't sign players straight on to the rookie list at this point of time.

Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.

I think this pre season Cox will do match simulation with McCartin as a backman.Ramps is a strange re-sign, not sure what the club is thinking. I love the man but I feel we need better alternatives down back.
Worst yet though is it seems we have no immediate valid replacement or were not able to obtain one.
Should just get both thenYeah this was the player I was told to keep quiet about
Has been in the media, but in no way linked to the Swans, both the club and his management wanted to keep it quiet.
His not our main priority, more of an option if Curnow falls down (which links back to us being confident on landing him).

Not at all keen on either Curnow or JUH but would be delighted to welcome Trac. Would make a significant difference to our midfield. Add Mills and it's a whole different thing.
I mean Adelaide is a big step up from having to live in Melbourne. Cheaper too.For these stars like Trac, surely the sell is not only for the player but partner/family too. I understand going to GC over us but Adelaide? ffs.
Say the exact same thing we said to Grundy. And instead of farms, we should stock up on other things. Shares in Haywards drink company or something. For these stars like Trac, surely the sell is not only for the player but partner/family too. I understand going to GC over us but Adelaide? ffs.

Mclean & picks for Trac with Buller re-signing with us?I still have the fainting hope that we can turn Buller around and stay with us. With the 5 on the bench rule, he would be the perfect second ruck/forward and displace the Titanic Mclean from the seniors once and for all.
Alas it will be in vain and we'll see him thrive at the Pies, while we still have 2 years for Mclean to come good.

Could definitely buy bigger houses in Adelaide.I dunno about big step up & I don't think money is an issue for trac.

Maybe it’s as simple as the top talent don’t want to go thereThe backlash against northern academies following the GF win is predictable but what I don't get is how destination clubs never face any restrictions. Geelong can load up on Bailey (& Isaac) Smith, Cameron, Dangerfield, the Pies with Bobby Hill, Tom Mitchell, Perryman, Houston while Kangaroos and North Melbourne struggle to attract anyone.
If a club makes top four three times in a row maybe they should be banned from trading in listed players for a year or two? This isn't a specific proposal so much as saying if I were a small club I'd be trying to put the clamps on destination clubs rather than taking aim at academies which at least grow the player pool. We talk about equalisation but one of the big inequalities is being able to attract top talent.
I'd be so pissed if Finbar is the best player we getWatch us miss out on both curnow who will go to cats for a fart in a sealed jar because that's all they've got and Trac because we were too busy watching the cats fart in a sealed jar.
Or we may not be a serious consideration for either of them.Watch us miss out on both curnow who will go to cats for a fart in a sealed jar because that's all they've got and Trac because we were too busy watching the cats fart in a sealed jar.
