List Spots Available (39 of 48):
• Main list (33 of 38) - 5* (in: Starcevich, Young out: Allen, Ryan, Chesser, Hunt, Petruccelle, Jamieson)

FWIW there is no stress coming from the Eagles camp. Things may not be moving as quick as we the fans want but it's all positive vibes coming out.

Give lions the priority pick and then bid on Annable at 1 just because they played stupid games.
Give them 23 for Starcevich and bid on Annable at 1 as that's what any competent side would do. They're the two time reigning premiers - no one owes them anything. The league's still a zero sum game AFAIAA.

That's not what we wanted to hear right now mate.

We want to hear about Pyke punching the shit out of Clarke, walking half the league to the PSD and us somehow ending up with picks 1-10.

The whole episode does show that Pyke need to revisit his mental framing of wanting to maintain good relations with all clubs. There are no friends here. Good relations mean nothing to anybody but us.

It’s almost like this doesn't happen every single year.

Likely off to Tassie but if he is prepared to sign an extension would be a great fit for us. I believe his girlfriend is a Perth girl who just got drafted to Melbourne in last years draft.

Looks like we all be left hanging until Fridays deadline.
In the interim we should be looking at trades that may effect any current picks we have, a consequence for Brisbane by delaying the FA compensation.

This is where the Hawthorn 1sr rounder in particular comes into play as that is a valuable component outcome wise that allows us to trade up to top ten pick

Re the Lions situation and compensation dilution, is this the first time this situation has actually cropped up?

I can't recall an 'official' dilution happening before under FA.

Maybe it has with lesser talents where the compensation would be negligible or it's a de facto player swap, but with two players that would realistically both qualify for 1st round compensation (on rumoured contract offers), I don't think that's happened before?

This is in a Captain America movie?
* edit * Team America.

Pretty much the same thing right
Jack Nicholson Thank You GIF
