For both players, injuries are the BIG factor.

Otherwise.

Allen has only had one good season as a key forward.

Starcevich is a lockdown back pocket. He might be the best in the game at his role, but he’s still a role player.

In a decent draft, I’d be p!ssed if we gave up more than pick 30 for either player.

In this draft, I’d still be p!ssed if we gave up a top 20 pick for Allen.

I don’t care about the argument that people say, “oh but pick 22 probably pushes out to pick 30”. Because in all likelihood it pushes out 0 or 1 spot before we have to use it to match a bid on Annable.

Bookmarked for later use.

OA not being worth giving up pick 29 in a decent draft.

Now in fairness, I won't be bringing it up if he spends the next 4-5 years injured and out of the team.
It’s all relative to the which team as well. Does the team have time to develop a young Key Forward?

Last year Jobe Shanahan went pick 30, and I’d probably prefer him to Allen. He’d really compliment Morris and Gallop.

For west coast maybe, given their timeline.

For us no chance. We won the flag due to midfield dominance and desperately need a mature body that is a genuine threat to help out Logan. Ty's prelim was sick but I'm not counting on him to back it up consistently.
