Collingwood and say even Essendon need good midfielders, the thing I find amusing is that they can go look at two or three other mids who maybe are available but they are not going to be as good as Jy. Now I'm not saying our current captain is a star but lets be honest, at his best he is a good player even with his deficiencies, and the Pies time is running out for that one last chance at a flag before they go the way of other clubs that have had a good run

So in actual fact while most pies supporters don't rate Jy, they are not the ones with the decision of recruiting that mid, the onus is squarely on Collingwood to top up and get that premiership before they start that slide. We don't have to do anything, in our team he can be a good wingman while the youngsters get glimpses in the middle and rotate of other positions, whether you rate our captain or not, one thing is perfectly clear, give us a very good deal or he saddles up in our colours next year, oh and we are on the way up with Tassie coming into the comp in 2027/8, now lets see what a couple of other clubs are like at poker!
