Thats who i thought it was... but he had a Indian accent to and was also trying to sell me Solar Panels as wellDidn’t you use a current cats employee’s name in your post? So if they were to check this thread and see that name placing his job in jeopardy, do you think that’s appropriate?

Curnow nominated us.
Marshall nominated us.
Disappointing that we couldn’t land either.
Brisbane, Gold Coast, and GWS all nailed the trade period - they’ll be very hard to beat next year.
We’ve improved slightly with Worpel and Bruhn, but the lack of a quality ruckman still hurts.
They have 2 ruckman that can do nothing but play ruck, neither have any skills as a forward and it will fail within the first 8 games of the season.
Then we will get the reports that St Kilda is going to bench Marshall for the balance of the team, just like what happened at Melbourne with Gawn and Grundy. It just wont work, trying to put a player out of position when they don't know what they are doing.
When you think about it this is just Geelong winning trade week by another name.Laughing at Hawks - no Merrett, lost Worple and CJ. They are net negative… made my day
I reckon Carlton were dirty on him and were never going to help him get to his first choice destinationNo he didn't - there was never an official announcement of Curnow nominating a club of his preference
The clubs getting together with a campaign of anyone but Geelong no matter what the cost or consideration of the player involved.Reads like clubs weren't keen to trade with us regardless this trade period.
Everyone needs to get over Conway.. he is made of cellophane. If he makes it off the injury list, fantastic, treat it as a bonus but I reckon he’s cookedThis gives Conway a lifeline if his body finally plays ball.
I'm interested in this new narrative of Blicavs being "battered" in 2025. He moved as well as he has in years, had some of his best ever ruckman games and played 25 times.
I guess some people have a different definition of battered to me.
Question... Is Conway injury, will he be ready by round 1This gives Conway a lifeline if his body finally plays ball.

Sure it'd be a bonus but my life isn't affected a great deal by saying "if Conway's body plays ball".Everyone needs to get over Conway.. he is made of cellophane. If he makes it off the injury list, fantastic, treat it as a bonus but I reckon he’s cooked
It is seriously a waste of a list spot. The next Ryan Abbott won't even get a game, let along impact results for us.
The whole "warm body" claim is ludicrous and gets wheeled out every year. Stanley, Blitz, and SDK will provide more than a state league ruck.
Either get a proper one, or don't bother. We tried that, and now we move on.
Yeah, but his still with HawthornNed Reeves was the ruck in the VFL team of the year
Question... Is Conway injury, will he be ready by round 1

. Looking forward to raising a glass next year to the 60th anniversary of failure

.Not really. We've had blitz durable every year to cover it but hes nearly 35 now. And stanley is almost cooked. So I can see us looking for a state league ruck post draft. There's a limited number of quality rucks on the market so you can get an ok 3rd stringer (as brisbane did with fort) but its hard to get a top end one.
Surely we will pick up a State League RuckmanNo chance with the major foot injury. Mid year at best. Tbh I expect to see sdk playing a fair bit of ruck next year.
While Port won't want to lose him for nothing, the destination club won't want to miss out on him after convincing him to choose them. They have a right to match but if no trade happens he gets to go where he wants via the draft.
His destination club shouldn't need to give much more than what they would use to take him in the draft. Port would get more by accepting the AFL's compo pick.
