Looking back, its pretty likely that by our first pick - the boys we wanted were gone and we just took what was given to us, and then picked best talent at the remaining pick.

Glad we got some currency into next year and Nairn and Schuey will be fun projects to see if they can become something. Realistically, the mids we want to become first team players are already on the list.

Draft slider, but really? Our biggest issue is midfield. Understand our first pick as he is a mid that can play forward (potential to be a petracca type if everything went perfect), but the second pick?

Very happy we've added some quality talls in the draft. Our current talls are getting the job done but Gunston probably in his last year and M Lewis could play 5 more games or 150 games.

These boys will take 2-3 years to come along too, so very keen to track their development.

High risk, high reward draft.

Both boys are late developers. Nairn October, Schubert December.

Both have massive upsides but also bust potential. Could look like geniuses in four years.

not quite, we did not get marsh. I have to work out nair'n position, is he our sharp, mid/forward, perhaps more forward than mid. Schubert is your genuine full forward.

I trust the club. Don't overreact on draft night, we all don't know as much as we think we do. I remember being annoyed we drafted Will Day over Dev Robertson and Brodie Kemp.

Nairn is 188cm. He's a utility/mid, more than he is a tall. He had 29, 30 and 31 disposals as a mid in his last 3 games for Central Districts.
