Hmmm!!Maybe our interest in Pickett is an attempt to force the Dees to use an early selection on him.
Same picks used, but they would have got less residual, so a lower pick coming back.Did trading up 2 places cost Sydney any more than they would have had to pay to match a bid 2 places later or was it the same picks they would have used anyway? What’s the points differential?
Oh, and btw, Welcome Oskar. Liked the look of his highlights package.
Thats not a good thing. Already stiff competition in our backline. He will power ahead of Fonti and grab that spot in the backline.
Swans didn't match on Carmichael! Maybe our early bid did cost them!Same picks used, but they would have got less residual, so a lower pick coming back.
Whether it's cost them anything really just depends on when the next bid comes for a player. Max King or Lachie Carmichael.
Maybe there is an opportunity to play a wing position tooThats not a good thing. Already stiff competition in our backline.
We tried Ash in midfield - maybe we think Taylor could play mid too.Maybe there is an opportunity to play a wing position too
Hard pressed to get a gig on any line in our team tbh

Yep, didn't come cheap.Where was that intel that Hawks would take Taylor?
A secon round pick this year and next year to move up 4 spots.
Caruso is a waste of space.
May have cost them Carmichael the way it worked outSame picks used, but they would have got less residual, so a lower pick coming back.

I think so too.On face value Hawthorn has had a very good night. Banked future picks and selected some highly rated picks at value.

His job is to build a list, he has built a terrific list by continuing to bring in good players.Caruso with some of his finest work as usual, 2 second round picks to move up a few spots for a guy that was rated at about pick 20 anyway. Nuts how many picks the guy has burnt the past few years trying to be clever. Taylor is a good pick up don't get me wrong, but eventually this silliness will come back to bite.
Matthew’s expected to be first round next year?Hawks and North had Taylor in consideration, happy to trade out what looks likely bid matching fodder for Matthews next year to get our guy
On his present trajectory it’s a good chance.Matthew’s expected to be first round next year?
