And SOB (son of Ben)ROB &BOB
Well he is one of the better mids still on the board along with Riley Onley, Fred Rodriguez etc. Ollie Greeves is still there so he has to be the big slider with AFL clubs, probably goes to the Hawks given they tried hard to get him as an NGA early in the year.Any chance we get Blake Oudshoorn Bennier? Funny, there’s two South Australian BOB’s in this draft classROB &BOB
If we look at gettting a mid/potential mid, this would be my preference order for tonightWell he is one of the better mids still on the board along with Riley Onley, Fred Rodriguez etc. Ollie Greeves is still there so he has to be the big slider with AFL clubs, probably goes to the Hawks given they tried hard to get him as an NGA early in the year.
Have we worked out what position Cotton is yet?If we look at gettting a mid/potential mid, this would be my preference order for tonight
J Pou
BOB
Onley
Greeves
LeRay
Holmes
Rodriguez
NRT
Also really like Rory Wright, though there’s only a bit of mid potential there, probably more a half back
Don’t see NHH as a potential mid
That’s the big unknown, honestlyHave we worked out what position Cotton is yet?
I know there was some commentary that he and LeRay were good mates and also went head to head - could he be the next Basketball Background Midfielder ala Pendlebury?
Why are people so unkind
Seems our social media forgot to post it
Roberts-Thompson I think is a smokey for us, one of those fierce competitor types I'm sure Nicks loves
Only 1 from WA also? What's happening over there?10 Victorians taken in the first 25 picks must be an all time low
In all seriousness what has curtin done in the middle to date to suggest he will succeed there? So far mainly Nicks has just brainwashed him into guarding the space. If he can turn into a see ball get ball well that would be great he just doesn’t project like that.
I like the look of him. Looks athletic, great set of hands and didn't cost much. Wouldn't surprise me if he plays a bit next season.Am I the only one who sees something good in Finnbar? I think he will surprise a few people given the chance.
Has MM played in defence before?
Could he be the Sheezel / Hodge/ Sicily type distributor off HB with that great leg?
I think Hamish has a GC recruiting managers Voodoo doll full of pins. All the picks they have and deals they can do.It's funny that we traded a worse pick than Port Adelaide in 2025, but somehow ended up with the more desirable 2026 pick
10 Victorians taken in the first 25 picks must be an all time low
I’m looking at WCE, our picks are probably a little more awkward to help Carlton match an Ison bidSurely we are on the phone to WCE or Carlton to trade up to one of their picks now, F2's are worthless in compromised drafts, so you can always get one back from someone.
46 and F2 for 28 or 29 and draft a mid
Clubs are not going to do us any favours - or the likes of Hawthorn eitherWould someone smart let us old ****ers know how many picks have been swallowed up by the bids. Our 48 may be mid thirties now. Possibly?
I know when we interviewed the Murray Bushrangers players during the year Ryder Corrigan was one that we looked at....Hamish special? Big bodied aggressive mid, none tougher in this draft, kicking a bit hit and miss but nobody gets an easy kick on him.If we look at gettting a mid/potential mid, this would be my preference order for tonight
