Would have taken Greeves. Really like Hawks draft.

Do clubs not want the reputation of breaking a promise to a player? Not sure relisting Welsh was needed after last night
I'd have taken Onley way more current day midfield attributes than Greeves. Top end speed, top end hops clean hands that enable him to get above tacklers and 195cm and already solidly built.Would have taken Greeves. Really like Hawks draft.
AinsworthNATIONAL COMBINE INVITES that missed out on a list spot anywhere, some might be a chance for training as a SPP:
Tairon Ah-Mu
Oskar Ainsworth
Sam Ainsworth (AA) (SA)
Thomas Burton
Noah Chamberlain
Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves
Louis Kellaway (SA)
Taj Murray
Blake Oudshoorn-Bennier (SA)
Isaac Waller
Wesley Walley
Looks better than ROB.AinsworthLooks better than ROB.
SA lads Oudshoorn-Bennier and Ainsworth might be worth a look I reckon.
Guessing it will be someone a bit our of the box though, like Murray was.
Getting marsh , ahchee , cotton and ludowyke for 23 and 49 while losing no one is vanilla ?This off season as felt very vanilla from us.
I am still dead keen on rolling the dice with Hollands though (if possible through SSP) , even more so after the double forward recruiting drive in the draft.

Hobbs got delisted?Yep. It was noticeable that ball winning with no other real attributes (pace, skills, etc) is no longer desirable. I think that was also proven with the delistings of Philips and Hobbs
Clubs want players for the transition game - and they want specialists with the skills for that style. Gone are the days of putting anyone on the wing or half back.
Players with no versatility (eg no second position) are also not desirable any more. Can't be an inside mid that rotates to the bench, you have to be able to play a forward role or something else
Me too, Jack Dalton looks a player too.Would have taken Greeves. Really like Hawks draft.

Hardly
Also glad didn’t just draft a mid for sake of it , no point having multiple Berry level mids
Hopefully get one next year draft / trade
