Yes. So an under 22 like Cowan gets a game at Carlton because your back flanker cupboard was full of garbage or Moir gets a game because your small and medium forwards were a disaster. Nuffie Blues fans then think they've got really good kids because they're playing seniors - meanwhile it's really jsut that you've get shit flankers and you've written off the season so you might as well play some kids.

He wouldn't have gotten a game in any of the top 8 teams. Cowan and Moir might end up solid players. But they view them getting a game as a reason for hope, whereas the reality is it's a reason that they're hopeless.
