In Japan those people switch their backpacks to the front. Don't even need to be told or have signs everywhere asking them to do so. People with bigger bags use overhead racks that are in most trains.

But then again that's Japan, no chance of it happening here.

Whenever I've got a backpack with me I take it off before getting on the train or tram, and if I'm standing it goes between my legs

It seems like basic politeness but it's too difficult for some

For years Maiden have alternated between half a set of the new album and most of the hits, next tour is greatest hits, this one was the former, agreed it was still surprising they didn't play it.

It was their ending song for ages.

But they went with wasted years .

I'd be happy with die with ya boots on.
Or a number of others .

Coles. WTF R U doing. Every aisle’s stuff has been moved to somewhere else. F me
Woolworths did the same a while ago. While customers roamed around taking twice as long to find their usual products they also discovered that the prices had gone up.

It's now the biggest killer. We are living too long :(

How times change the average size and weight of convicts was 60 odd kilograms and 160 cm and average age at lifes end was 33 years .

Living is a bit better these days .

this interests me. what exactly about dementia makes it a cause of death? ive always wondered how they pick what to use as cause of death
Deterioration of the brain. It's not sudden. Unless there is another known disease such as cancer or a dodgy heart, etc. There are lots of tests now, including genetic testing. Also people whose brains are examined after death reveal substantial disintegration of neural pathways. Both my in-laws died of it. They were both relatively healthy otherwise. MIL lasted 2-3 years from diagnosis (aged 85), FIL about 5-6 years (aged 89). (It's difficult to know when it "starts" as people can present as fine for quite a long time.)

The Australian newspaper recently ran an information campaign about it, research, medical improvements, treatments, as well as personal experiences.

Mrs R Pop had Dementia he was abit of a subtle campaigner. But the Dementia made him a full on campaigner and wasn't good to be around.

I guess it effects people in different ways .
It does. And there are lots of different types of dementia. My FIL had Alzheimers, which was different to MIL’s condition.

Concerningly, Dementia which was supposedly an elderly condition, now affects the youth at an alarming rate. Same with Alzhiemers.
Got a mate 61 and rapidly heading that way. Asking the same question 3times in a row
