Treloar, Grundy, Adams, Stephenson ring a bell?
Another that the Pies had enough of due to his off field drama. Ginnivan pushed out by Collingwood, rather than him initiating a move.Ginni
That is the real issue. You lost 3 players last season (66 games for 2025) and you're going to lose than many games conceivably for another 2-3 seasons in a row. That's 3 players a year you need to turn over around 10-12 players and find AFL level replacements. This is after a very lean period of drafting which doesn't appear to have been fixed yet although it is always impossible to tell the last 2 years until 2 years in the future unless they are very good.A host is an interesting term.
We lose Pendlebury, Sidebottom and Howe in 1-2 years.
We lose , Elliott, DeGoey, Crisp, McStay, Houston and Moore in 3-5 years.
We will be losing 1 to 2 a year for the next 5 years. I assume that's pretty normal for most clubs.
TdK said this did he ? Id like to see the reference to this quoteBut different to Carlton players declaring I anywhere but this shit hole to their manager.

He was one that did actually want out, another was Daisy Thomas, but that was what more than a decade ago.Beams
A fair difference between the Pies pushing unwanted players out the door and Carlton unable to keep wanted players.TdK said this did he ? Id like to see the reference to this quote
So no reference to TDK saying he wanted to get out of that shithole, to his manager then. Just confirming the nonsense that some people say and make out as gospel.A fair difference between the Pies pushing unwanted players out the door and Carlton unable to keep wanted players.
If you want a recent example of a Pie that wanted out - Henry who wanted to go to Geelong.
Just stupid rattling off players who the club pushed out.
Pies telling Ginni to explore your options ain't the same as TDK accepting a Free Agent Offer and telling Carlton he is going.Sounds a bit like TDK who wanted to stay but Blues wouldn't cough up 1.7 mil for a ruck...
Pies, like all good clubs, are continually rebuilding.Pies are in dire need of a rebuild.
Using your silly logic, should do the same with Cripps, Carlton should have moved him on and getting some more picks for youth for the future.Club is hoping DeGoey is finally over his OP issues but he never keeps himself in good condition even at the best of times. Personally think they'd have been better off shopping him around and getting a couple of decent picks for him for an injection of youth for the future.
I hope all Pies players are flag chasing.Pendles, Howe and Sidebottom are flag chasing
Not many neutrals thought we were much of a chance of doing anything in 2022 either.I don't think many neutrals think the Pies are any chance in 2026 after Brisbane spanked them and then went out and got better in the trade and draft period while the Pies got worse.
Having strong leadership around the club from ultra professionals like Pendles can only be a good thing for kids coming in.Imo will look back in 12 months time with regret they didn't move them all on sooner.
Lol, every single one of them got shown the door.Treloar, Grundy, Adams, Stephenson ring a bell?
Except that Cripps doesnt turn up to pre season appearing to look out of shape, isnt always injured either, plus one is a club captain. Comparing them is "silly logic"Using your silly logic, should do the same with Cripps, Carlton should have moved him on and getting some more picks for youth for the future.
Correct, we couldn't wait to get Grundy out the door, so much so that we were willing to pay half his wages.A fair difference between the Pies pushing unwanted players out the door and Carlton unable to keep wanted players.

Crippa is banged up and past his best. Carlton aren't winning anything with his anytime soon. Personally think Carlton would have been better off shopping Crippa around and getting a couple of decent picks for him for an injection of youth for the future.Except that Cripps doesnt turn up to pre season appearing to look out of shape, isnt always injured either, plus one is a club captain. West coast will fork up plenty in year or 2 when the time is right. For now, we will keep a close eye on Cody and trade up a few more 2nd round picks in next years draft for another top 5 selection. Im sure the club is all over keeping an eye on the future.Crippa is banged up and past his best. Carlton aren't winning anything with his anytime soon. Just the usual ridiculous nuffie stuff from Walshy.Correct, we couldn't wait to get Grundy out the door, so much so that we were willing to pay half his wages.
WC would get him as a coach for nought is 2 years.West coast will fork up plenty in year or 2 when the time is right. Poor Wormy. Now, where's that reference to tdk calling carlton a shit hole that you mentioned, or do you admit that it actually didnt happen ?
Richards ?WC would get him as a coach for nought is 2 years.
Poor Wormy.
Where did I note a TDK quote? You are looking for something that ain't there.
The point, which is a bit too hard for you is, players actively engage with other clubs in order to leave Carlton.
The players you and Walshy listed were all players Collingwood pushed out.
It took others to identify some actual equivalent players who we lost that we may have wanted to keep.
Treloar, Grundy, Adams, Stephenson ring a bell?
It's quite amazing that Carlton supporters equate the departure of these players - all of whom had any choice of whether to stay or go taken out of their hands - with the exodus of TDK, Curnow and Silvagni who couldn't get out of Carlton quick enough.Ginni
Sounds as though you're conceding Curnow and Silvagni did say that...So no reference to TDK saying he wanted to get out of that shithole, to his manager then. Just confirming the nonsense that some people say and make out as gospel.
FoolsUnbelievable...
Actually no, it's very believable.
Why are you focussing on TDK when the comment was a general one about 'Carlton players'?Now, where's that reference to tdk calling carlton a shit hole that you mentioned, or do you admit that it actually didnt happen ?
Bit different to Carlton players declaring I anywhere but this shit hole to their manager.
And he's mentioned Richards multiple times, as if it's some sort of massive gotcha....Fools
