While it was raining I spoke briefly to Ash’s mum and dad and they said with the weather they didn’t expect the “petting zoo” to be going long. As it turned out the rain stopped at a perfect time, sun even came out, and most of the players went round doing autographs and photos for ages - shoutout to Libby and Eilish who were looking after stragglers long after everyone else had gone inside.

So I got photos with most of the team and a photo with the two cups and I’m not sure I have ever been happier. As the photo shows.

Also last night my son got a signed footy handed to him from AGM after the game and he has been waiting his whole 19 years of attendance for this to happen.

Bull5hit. Everyone knows the GF will be the Saturday after the prelims and that we would be in it. Knew that at start of season - actually as soon as draw released. Sorry, but I reckon it stinks.

Ok got home late after the game and what enjoyable it is to support this side. If one player is down another just jumps up and covers the slack.
Lions came out at the start of the match with passion but they needed a bell in the ball - fumbled so often.
Loved that our 2nd tier players really stepped up and did their job.
Sherrin was massive - she was a wrecking ball.

I admire players who have a crack but is Dawes related to Mitch Robinson ? She seemed off her face in that interview at half time lol. Looks like a headcase just like Robinson. She gave a cheap shot gut punch to Randell after a mark which I didn’t like. I wanted Wall to clean her up
