It will.

Until big Pharma ups its cash donations to Trump inc on the proviso he prosecutes their case against Australia's PBS.

Specifically the US mega Pharma companies like Johnson & Johnson, Merck and Pfizer want to stop the PBS tendering process which lowers the overall cost of the scheme to taxpayers and provides access to cheaper generic alternatives. And they will bribe Trump to up the general tariff rate as a threat to get it.

We've still got more than three years of this goon in the White House and he has a long history of reneging on deals he made just days earlier. And, as we know the whole idea of a universal subsidised health care scheme on any scale is akin to communism in the eyes of the billionaire racketeers like Trump and his mates.
Like clockwork, UK (taxpayers) to pay 25% more for new drugs through NHS' Australia and the PBS will probably be next.

Eh?

Predictions on Trump's authoritarian fashy 2nd admin have proven absolutely correct, they didn't go far enough if anything.

You're in orbit, mate :drunk:
He is simply doing what he campaigned on.

I think your definition of authoritarian and fascist is just doing something you disagree with.

We're talking about a bloke who assures us with a straight face he hasn't seen any slanderous posted about Obama or Hilary on this site, and that Trump's urging of Republicans to support the Epstein vote wasn't a flip flop.

We'd be amazed at all the things he can't (won't) see I'm sure :tearsofjoy:
I haven't seen anything slanderous posted about Obama or Hilary Clinton.

What is going on with the Epstein files (sounds so spooky) anyway?
Have you all moved onto the next conspiracy theory now that that one has finished?

i like this option. america is built on money/greed. hit them where it hurts.

And in the absolute worst‑case, a one‑shot economic “nuclear option”: using their trillions in U.S. government debt to shake the foundations of the American financial system if Trump tries to legitimise Russian aggression and carve up Ukraine for cash.

that's cos you exist in an echo chamber.

they knew his history the first time, yet they went there again. fortunately, he's turned them into a fading power, an empire in collapse.

Conservatives like yourself are attempting to deflect the fact that Trump is a rapist and more than likely a paedophile.

In football speak, this is akin to the GM coming out on Monday after losing by 100pts the previous weekend and saying "the coach has the full support of the board". Old mate Bradley is ****ed.

If this admiral did order the strikes and they were illegal, he’s senior enough to have known better and should be held accountable. That’s not to say anyone further up the chain shouldn’t also be held responsible. I have some sympathy with people down the chain of command being held responsible for carrying out (illegal) orders but an admiral should certainly be able to push back.

This person has only been in his post since early October. I don’t know the exact timeline, but the previous admiral who held this post resigned almost as soon as these strikes on Venezuelan boats began.

What is the point of this lawsuit, I wonder. There have already been several that have worked their way through the lower courts and all the way up to the SCOTUS, where oral arguments were heard a few weeks ago, and from whom a ruling is pending.

Making a different argument of some sort? Lawyers getting those billing hours up more likely;)
