he always prepared diligently, but he certainly looks very fit in that Geelong gear.

Good luck Worps, he doesn't owe us anything more.

and if he has a good or better than good season in 2026, it will be an indictment on quite a few other clubs that they did not chase a quality FA and instead were chasing far lower quality guys.. looking at you Saints, Eagles, North etc..

So. We have a podcast called "This is your journey" being sponsored by a funeral director. Who thought this was a good idea? :D
Yep we are all on the road to the grave, but before I get there it will be good to have Punky to learn his craft else where before he comes back to thru the door at Hawthorn and gets another trio of flags as a forwards coach at home where he belongs.

Yep, that is normally the case, but I was getting too close, so I thought I might step off the road for a little while, sit down, take in the sights and enjoy the bliss that is the Hawks.;)

I know it won't - but it would be good if this guilty verdict could finally stop this absolute stain of a human being associated with anyone in footy circles. However if doing drugs and sleeping with a minor won't do it this sadly won't either I would guess.
Nixon's biggest issue is that he exposed the afls underhanded tactics.
Everything he has done, the league has also done. Does everyone really think all these "authentic" team signed things from third parties are legitimate?

No he doesn't; would be great if we got a fair compensation pick from the AFL just once though.

This is far from Nixon's biggest issue and I find it weird that anyone makes excuses for him or continues to engage in his dumb****ery. Same deadshits who would call anyone they disagree with politically a paedophile are first to be in his comments on Instagram going 'HAR HAR CHICKEN GO BANG!'.

It's an absolutely mental take.

The bloke is a grub of a human being.

I dont like the bloke at all, but every issue he's had started when he stood up to the honchos at AFL house. It doesnt change the type of person he is, but let's not pretend he's alone in the industry, he's the one who spoke up though

Can you explain how taking drugs with and sleeping with a minor has anything to do with AFL house? He's not a martyr he's just a slimy campaigner.

Can someone tell me when the DFA period closes and whether Frost or Tom Mitchell are training with any clubs at the moment?

Always have a soft spot for our ex Hawks and would have thought these two would have landed somewhere by now.
With the introduction of the SSP, it meant the DFA period pretty much extended a long way, just using a different name.

Official DFA period has ended.
But now players can join a club via SSP, which runs until February 20.

Neither Mitchell nor Frost are officially training with any clubs.

Funny that Hollands is training with Carlton.

He wasn't let go due to lack of football ability, it was all the off field issues that caused that. They already know he is an AFL quality player.

I guess they are testing his dedication to remaining in the system by making him work his butt off for another contract.

Without having looked at their list spots - shocked that West Coast haven't sounded out Titch. My criticisms of him are well known but he would undoubtedly bring some solid experience to a side that is desperate for it.

There could have even been some potential for him to land an assistant coaching role with us. That’s if he hadn’t effectively burned the bridge on his podcast with his suggestions that he was scapegoated by the coaches in his final year with us.
