This league should blow away the pre-season tournament and go to a 30 week competition

they should expand the bench (to 8-10 players??) to cope with the extra stress on the players

5 is the usual. Some teams - usually Collingwood - get away with 4. Don'tknow who they pissed off but the Tiges had 6 this year. They went away two weeks in a row to AAMI, too. The draw from hell.

No surprise if we've been dicked in favour of, say, Collingwood, but they've had a week to work out any kinks and compromises to perhaps we'll find some surprises in our favour in a few hours (or whenever it is getting released).

I'd think home games at the 'G are a formality, though, and the AFL are stupid beyond belief if we get a raft of Dome games instead.
