Jy Simpkin as well, we’ve got s far better zone then the Tiwi islands, I happen to know plenty of clubs were unhappy we got the zone we have.

Jy Simpkin and Esava Ratugolea are two players I’d happily have who are from our zone. Kayle Kirby is another who was drafted from our zone. We will have some good players from this zone, just a matter of time.

Fair enough mate. Simpkin went pick 12 in the draft after breaking his leg in his draft year and pains me to say it as we missed him by one year but I think he will be a really good player and goes under the radar because he plays for Norf.

Eggmolesse-Smith is the only player we currently have through our academy I’m pretty sure

As for the next few years I have a cousin by marriage who is currently involved in the academy system
Haven’t spoken to him or my uncle in a while so I’m not sure where he is at in terms of getting drafted

His name is Philip Solomon he lives in symour and has played a few games with the Murray Bushrangers

Maurice Jnr is all but ours (he has strongly indicated he wants to come to us should he be good enough to make it)

a lot of the talk recently has been about Daniels Brother who is in the Academy zone for Essendon.

so to get him he would have to knock back essendon and nominate for the draft and hope he slips to us. (long shot)
