Not a Christian myself but as someone who grew up in a Christian family and has many dear Christian friends I am simply disgusted by his debasement of the faith he claims to follow.

I'd love to see Abbott get another shot at opposition leader. He would be destroyed inside a year, nobody gets two once in a lifetime opportunities.

Scott Morrison can be thankful that Malcolm Turnbull's autobiography doesn't get released until later in the year.

Imagine if Turnbull's book was published right in the middle or even in the final days of the election. What damage could it do to the Coalition's chances of retaining government?

I'm struggling to think of anything else under Shorten that has really damaged the image of the ALP. Shorten isn't overly charismatic but he's been pretty steady and so has the ALP.

Put that into contrast with the LNP with off the top of my head we've had; 2 PMs knifed, Michaelia Cash's potential tip off, Barnaby and banging a staffer, Littleproud and his sexting, Murray-Darling disaster, Dutton's eligibility and au pairs and finances, Wilson and his cousin, then the allegations of sexism and bullying, section 44 eligibility, SSM postal survey, Royal Commission into Banking, $500 million to the Great Barrier Reef Foundation and now they've lost a key Bill in regards to asylum seekers.
