So he clearly didn't want to approve the funeral but had no choice and even now is still unhappy about it. He was truly the victim in the death of John McCain. His narcissism knows no bounds.

The eternal compassion of my liberal friends fills my heart with warm fuzzy feelings

Like Trump talking about McCain?

True but how do we do that in low income economies where large amounts of people are willing to work for a couple of bucks a day becuase its better than the alternative? You mandate higher wages and those people dont end up with work and go into poverty as the multinationals move elsewhere. Most effective way to boost wages in those countries is to simply let the market work uninhibited. This is how the asian tigers grew and liviing standards improved dramatically within decades. We are now seeing the same story repeat again in southern asia.
An interview with Chris Blattman, who studied the Ethiopian foreign factory industry, and shows the experience of the local population is mixed.

http://rationallyspeakingpodcast.org/show/rs-175-chris-blattman-on-do-sweatshops-reduce-poverty.html

The factory job is steadier money but often more risky with long-term health implications. Local workers often spend short stints in the factories, then back out into fields for seasonal work and/or onto the streets when their health starts failing. So a factory job just joins manual field work and crime in a basket of options that most people move in and out of according to circumstances, health, or inclination.

"Working with five Ethiopian firms, we randomized applicants to an industrial job offer, an “entrepreneurship” program of $300 plus business training, or control status. Industrial jobs offered more and steadier hours but low wages and risky conditions. The job offer doubled exposure to industrial work but, since most quit within months, had no impact on employment or income after a year. Applicants largely took industrial work to cope with adverse shocks. This exposure, meanwhile, significantly increased health problems. The entrepreneurship program raised earnings 33 percent and provided steadier hours. When barriers to self-employment were relieved, applicants preferred entrepreneurial to industrial labor. "

Report on Chinese Christmas decoration manufacturers:

https://mashable.com/2014/12/22/christmas-factory-yiwu/?utm_cid=mash-com-fb-main-link#bCr.Dc6738q0

Writer for the BBC, Tim Maughan, who travelled to Yiwu with Smith and the Unknown Fields Division team, described Yiwu as his "worst Christmas nightmare." He details 12-hour shifts, excessive heat and hard labour in a dizzying maze of Christmas ornaments in this manufacturing hub.
"Upstairs is the plastic moulding room, mainly staffed by young men, stripped to the waist because of the heat. The air here is thick with fumes, the smell of chemicals and warm plastic," Maughan writes. "The men feed plastic pellets from Samsung-branded sacks into machines to be melted down, and then pressed into moulds to make toy snowmen and Father Christmases. It’s repetitive, and potentially dangerous, as the workers must constantly reach inside the large presses."

Local laws and industry commitment to ensure suppliers look after workers to minimum standards WE set would be a start. Accepting more expensive Christmas decorations and rejecting "Stickeez" and other inane supermarket promotional plastic would help, too. What we do now is divorce people from the reality of how their cheap goods are made, and the real cost to developing regions people and environment.

Universal basic income...the government taking a dollar out of your left pocket to put it in your right pocket is the dumbest idea yet
It's probably more capitalistic than the current welfare setup. Scrap what we have, make one tax-free payment without question so people can decide what they spend the money on. Give people the option to donate it to a charity of their choice if they like.

Just watched this. Why the hell can't he just STFU about Senator McCain. Is he trying to lose Arizona? He's alienating moderate Republicans like my brothers even more. Trump will probably be cremated and have his ashes scattered, since he knows that his gravesite would be pissed on by thousands of us.

What is wrong with not liking someone?

Big difference between not liking someone and using every opportunity to spout your dislike of the guy publicly.

You think Trump supporters would react the same if a future president spoke about Trump this way when hes passed away?

What is wrong with not liking someone?

Nothing. But don’t shit can someone who’s passed away and make it all about yourself.

Oh Oh, better get all mine in before he passes.:)

It will require a lot of will power from me though.

not to mention he's just making stuff up.

“I gave him the kind of funeral that he wanted, which as president I had to approve,” FALSE. He had nothing to do with his funeral, other than being the only living POTUS not invited.

Trump said McCain "told us, hours before, that he was going to repeal and replace." FALSE. "Nope. Never happened, You're surprised Trump lied?" said a former aide of McCain.

“The vets were on my side because I got the job done. I got Choice and I got accountability. … For many decades, they couldn’t get it done. It was never done. I got it. Five months ago, I got it done. Choice.” FALSE. What Trump got done was an expansion of the program achieved by McCain and Bernie Sanders, most prominent among the lawmakers who advanced the legislation signed by Obama.

he's such an inadequate POS, a petty little man he is.

If there is nothing wrong about not liking someone, then why do you guys cry and whinge about people not liking Trump, all the time?

People rag on Trump, you guys go wah wah. Trump attacks a dead guy, and probably only doing it because he is too cowardly to say those things when McCain is alive, and you guys see nothing wrong
