Mr Quickie has to ******* die to not put away that sorry looking, rag tag bunch of shit campaigners in the Mornington Guineas.

Spoken like a man that rarely bets at Mornington ;)

I see Japanese import Ambitious that was aimed at group 1 WFA racing has gone down a peg tomorrow in the Albury Cup

When owners paid the big coin to get it out here, doubt they were eyeing the Albury Cup. With all DR of course to Albury race club.

I also see STORMO!!!!! has finally found his level as a double figure chance in a Mornington Cup.

Ok so at a minimum slow, but possibly heavy?

If it was Swampwick I'd be locking in a H8 at best - Rosehill drains much better though - I'll say Slow 7 - hard to see it not being a genuine wet track for mine though.

How wet can it be Rosehill saturday? Occasional showers forecast then appears clear on raceday. Slow 6?

Quick answer WET.

However Friday and Saturday look to be warm so there may be an upgrade on the day. I'd be doing the form in the heavy range though, assuming a heavy 8 personally. Gut feeling is Friday and Saturday might get in in the soft range but there is a big might there, it has bucketed down this week.

Any danger they can run the Galaxy early on?

Just asking for a mate.

Comfortably in the bottom 2 tracks in Australia
Deserves to be bulldozed by a North Korean rocket strike
Sorry Bad Call
Mooney Valley no 1 followed by Kilcoy, its so bad its called the Moonee Valley of the north. Beaudesert and Bowraville follow closely, Bowraville is a 1400 m cicrumference and a 100m straight where the race is to lead in the 1st 10 meters. Its actually a punting paradise if you know your leaders so i give it extra brownie points.
Mornington probably around 7th worst

RACE 4: MACKAY

2. Craiglea Galio: $9 into $4.50, jumps beautifully, possies up, then starts losing ground and is eventually pulled up and out of the race at the 500 looking very bloody proppy. :drunk: #morewaystodoyourdough

Which horse do we reckon is TAS' biggest 'danger'?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think these are the best NZ'ers they've sent over, they look pretty even and probably all better suited at the Derby trip.

I think Dealmaker is perhaps a touch of place overs. Query at the trip but if they only go slow I think he has the class through his Melbourne runs to sprint past a few here. Only other problem is Hugh using him as a penetrometer.

Keen to see TAS though - would like a Caulfield Guineas style romp against these, especially with the step up in trip. If he can only manage to win like he did last start (unimpressively) it'll be straight off to stud.

Himself - if he runs anywhere near his ability he just wins - I'm not even looking at the rest of the field. To get him beat you have to not only have him run massively below par but also then pick which camel beats him.

in this race he wins by 10 hard held,if anything gets near him though it will be a kiwi but they dont excite me. But he is a big lay against the fillies if he ever runs against them

Avoiding Dealmaker for this reason. Chapada will be my place bet, looking for the trip every bit as much as anything in the field.

Interested to see how Alexandra Dreaming returns in the next at Pakenham. Unbackable now but reckon she's a real quality filly.

Reckon I might be wrong.

Mornington:
Rc2 Miss Toorak Flyer has been remarkably consistent
Rc7 Ventura Storm I like the weight differential from the MV Cup but would need to improve from last start
Rc8 Bons Away bad draw but does have the class and a nice weight advantage on toppy
Rc9 Mr Quickie should be too good for this lot

Rosehill:
Rc1 Sweet Scandal nearly ran a track record last time out and wont have the same calibre of horses chasing
Rc3 Shraoh very impressive for a similar race last time out (Jameeh EW based on Spring form shits in)
Rc6 Unforgotten I think the best horse in the race
Rc8 Redzel crazy overs, also go my boy Graff but think Redzel should have him covered
