Something is really lacking this year. Not much excitement from the games. My guess is that it has something to do with the 6-6-6 rule.

Was thinking about it before if it was because we don’t have the runners anymore making structural changes on the fly with the players to absorbed in the game to see the big picture and make the changes themselves

The way they've started you'd think the Saints were the team that got thrashed last week.
Bombers just going through the motions so far.

To be fair it was even worse for the entire first half of last year, the 2nd part of the season picked up but it was that first half of 2018 that really provoked these rule changes.

So what!
Let the game evolve on it's own as it has done for decades previously.
So the standard of footy was poor for 3 months so let's just change the rules because we (CEO's) can do whatever we please to make $$$

AFL is stripping as much violence from the game as possible . No more big hits or rough ups. I think that is the biggest factor . They are turning it PC

Dwayne Russell just after a story. Just wants to kick clubs while they're down. Last week he desperately wanted the gold coast to win now he wants the bombers to get touched up. He is scum who just wants a story.

There's a bit of a difference between St Kilda and GWS.

Your previous statement inferred an improvement in Essendon rather than a deterioration in performance by St Kilda. So there is no point in comparing GWS and St Kilda.
