Can't deny Campbell makes a huge difference to our structure but we are just so far off the pace across the ground.

Yeah that seems likely.
If you had read my post properly you would have realized I was responding to another posters comments Anyway in the long run we all want the same thing. But then again I swear some posters seem to love it when we fail so they can bitch and moan about the club .

Seems the only reason we have to hang on to him is because we can’t afford to sack him. Well, I think the board members that approved his last extension should pay for it. And the supporters that have been supporting him for the last 5 years can also chip in.

I just want a shake up or something to get excited about.
I’d legitimately be excited if Scott was sacked during the week or in 6 weeks time.
Imagine the ruckus in the press and the feeling of rebirth we’d all have.
We’re stale as old bread behind the radiator atm. It’s just another play by numbers round then season at the moment. 9-13 finish. Few memorable wins and another false dawn.
Yawn
Just slowly leaches the life out of the membership base and north melbourne constituency

50% WL ratio
4 finals series in 9 years in a competition where 4/9ths of the teams play finals each year
4 out of 8 wins in finals - 50%
Wins in 2 out of 4 finals series - 50%
Zero top 4 finishes
Zero Grand Finals
Zero Premierships
And none of these numbers going up in 2019

Is this what NMFC would have accepted when Brad was appointed nearly 10 years ago? The team is so vanilla. Stupid players remain stupid and their stupid coach keeps backing them in. No light ever appears at the end of the tunnel because for a light to appear, you have to be moving towards it. This club has spent pretty much 10 years moving nowhere.

It's time for a new era. The passion is draining away from the club. Make the move on the coach. I can't think of a good reason not to do it.

The saddest thing is that if a call was made right now on one of the three choices - sack now, see out the contract or extend the contract - I genuinely believe the club are stupid enough to extend.

Muppets.

All good, if we win the next 23 games it will be sweet.

As you indicated 'this club has spent 10 years moving nowhere'.

Honestly, would we sack him if we were 0-7?

Can see that being very likely with our run of games.

Yeah but how many of the players recruited under Brad's tenure now own their own homes?

These are the KPIs you are ignoring.

This is a business, after all. Professional players.

Honestly I don't think we would. We'd have been close in this game or that, had a few injuries, played some good teams or teams in good nick etc etc. NMFC bullshit Vers 2019.

I hope Ben Buckley is reading this forum, because at the moment there are a vast majority of members who are disenfranchised with this club under the current Scott reign.

If he is allowed to coach out his contract with the playing group going backwards at a rate of knots, this club will be in big strife.

As a traditionally small membership club, we can’t afford for this turkey to grind the club into the ground for 2 more years.

It’s disgusting that we still have one of the worst skilled lists in the comp, a game plan that can only be described as dogshit and players who repeatedly make dumb mistakes.

This club hasn’t evolved one bit in his 10 year tenure. All we have done is unnecessarily tread water so he can save his job.

I don't think there would be one club that would be worried about playing NM next week..

Somebody in another thread said that they used to get nervous in close matches, really worry about the result, but now they just watch without any emotion, don't really care.

This is me, also. I figured it was just because I'm older now, priorities in life change, and so on.

But maybe it really is because I have become comfortably numb watching Brad Scotts and his merry band of professional footballers.

I don't know.

I will still watch, I'll still post here. If I am ever in town when a game is on I will probably go.

But yeah I just don't really care any more.

This is what I don't understand - every team in the afl knows that to beat us all you need to do is play on quickly and keep the ball locked in their 50 and you will win.

Because A - we are slow as **** and we don't seem to have any defensive structure (see teams easily strolling through the centre of the ground)
Because B - our small defenders are dumb as **** and will turn the ball over 70% of the time under pressure.

This has been the same story every year under Scott. And to compact the issues we never drop certain players and never change.

Scott's done and for the love of God can we please get a decent replacement? Should have jumped on one of clarksons students years ago.

From what I’ve seen across the first two rounds I’m convinced we are a bottom 4 side.

How can we bring in Polec, Hall, Pittard, Tyson & Campbell and regress so badly. As soon as I saw the first two JLT games I knew we were in big strife.

However, the biggest reason why he needs to go ASAP is his sheer lack of development in players. So many of our younger types fail to take the next step despite having talent.

You reminded me, one of Polec's KPI's is to kick 20 goals this season. The bloke is the best kick at the club and as he showed today kicking them from 60 metres out on the boundary isn't an issue.

20 goals? Is that setting the bar at any sort of height? Or is that coach contract extension height?
