Aurora and Julia couldn't have handled that worse. Julia publicly admitted to having heaps of active deals, no wonder neither party wanted a bar of her after that. Initially felt like Rick and David didn't need to play their idol and it might come back to bite them, but at least that struggle is over for them.

I don't think David could risk not playing it given Karma's plan was to vote him out and he knew that was the plan. If they didn't flip on Julia he was in trouble and it would be completely impossible to get an accurate read on what was actually going to happen at that tribal after all the side conversations.

I was more underwhelmed by the tribal than I should have been. Probably because I only figured out who Julia was at the start of the episode when someone called her out as pulling the strings at Karma. We've seen practically nothing of her and Aurora all season.

I thought it was a pretty hectic tribal but the fact the players are so underwhelming this season dulled it a bit.

She won’t but Wentworth is probably the one I want to win.

Yeah it's mostly the edit that led me to think that he didn't need to play it, I can certainly see why David & Rick both thought it was worth playing after all of that chaos. I've been impressed with Kelley and to a slightly lesser extent Lauren for not revealing their idols yet.

The Etsy shop woman had way too much of a focus put on her in this episode. She's a terrible player, annoying, and she speaks strangely. I worry that she'll have a prominent role to play on the run home.

David most definitely had to play the idol. Devens came out of all of that looking pretty strong I reckon.

Nothing is more satisfying than a cocky survivor player like Julia getting voted out after telling others to shut up because they are just a passenger. Must be really hard in that situation for Devons not to make a comment as she walks up to Jeff to get her torch snuffed. Sure you might want her vote if you make it to the jury but i would struggle to bite my tongue.

Aurora trying to be clever just botched the whole thing and then Julie having a melt down mid-tribal really threw the whole thing open.

Does anyone else have a distaste for that Vicky? The little homeless looking beanie wearing red-head that seems so comfortable at tribal all teh time? I cant stand her.

I love the irony of people like Ron who don't understand why his alliance didn't stay Karma strong for the 6 or 7 of them (depends if you include Aurora who was clearly 7th) when they voted Aubry and Joe out too soon. Has come back to bite Eric and Julia big time.

Don't think Julia handled tribal well, but I thought she was playing well overall and got screwed over by Aurora's disaster at tribal

I loved that tribal, but it was an absolute shit show.

Julie having a meltdown after being on the bottom for 1 whole day was infuriating to me. I think that played a huge part in the events too. There was one day between Eric being voted out and Julia being voted out. There wasn't time for her to find comfort in an alliance again and as such she lost her mind. As has been thought above, with the edit she has received, I feel she will be here til the end.



I thought this was the case when I watched it, so was happy to see that it was. Kelley got completely sucked in by the young karma players, in the same way that Aubry was. Had this mess not occurred, like Aubry she would have been out of the game with an idol in her pocket. I don't feel like she can win but I really want her to.

Devins made the decision to announce the split Idol. David just had to go along with it.

I think it had to be played soon. If Devins continues to work against David and the lesu 3 then David is just going to tell everyone about the split Idol and use it to put a bigger target on Devin's back.

Doubt it. There's been 36 different winners so far (plus two more before S40 starts), but there's never been that many contestants on one season before

EDIT: I just realised you were wondering if they would include early winners, not whether all the winners would play. As far as I can see there's no leaks as to who the cast is - it is 2 seasons away after all

Yes sorry my post didn’t make it as clear as it should. I was pondering how far back would they go.

I know a few of the early winners like Richard, Ethan, Tina etc appeared again later on, but the game has evolved so much since then. It would be very different for them.

More recently, I liked the brief battle Tony and Sandra had a few seasons ago. Would like to see them back at it again.

And for some reason I mistakenly thought this was season 39, so yes way too soon for casts to be revealed.

Cast will leave about a week after this finale, so whoever wins 38 could be included.

only 14 different female winners, and only 3 in the last 6 years. Which means alot of old school female winners must have said yes. Sandra, Denise, Natalie A, Sophie, Tina, Parvati and kim would have said yes immediately.

Plenty of males to choose from. Hatch is obvious. Tyson will probably be there.
Hopefully not all of Ben, Nick, Wendell and Adam make it, though they all would have said yes.
