Funny seeing Tom Lynch's game talked up because he scored a bag of 6 goals

He got on the end of two fast breaks and added the icing to the cake. But it wasn't his good play. It was his teammates further afield who beat Port's defensive press. One of these, he was pushed in the back and given a gift goal from the umps (That's 3 goals where he did nothing but kick straight from close range)

He also a score another goal from a 50m penalty after he was hit on the tit and played on 70m from goal. The umpire should've called on. Instead, the umpire penalised the Port defender in the harshest way possible.

That's 4 cherry-picked or ump-assisted goals

He scunged a pretty good goal from a metre out when Port defenders failed to punch it through for a rushed behind. Can't remember how he scored his first goal - probably a laces out foot pass which he marked on his chest and duly converted

... and listen to his number one fan, Jonathan Brown hyping him up afterwards.

Puopolo > Lynch.

Right?

The rule is not crossed the line. The rule is after the umpire signalled all clear

Ump straight out lied by saying he had signalled all clear before the push as he would of had to have signalled it just as the ball crossed the line which he wouldn’t of
WRONG.

12.4.1 Free Kick Awarded Before ‘All Clear’ Where a Free Kick is awarded to a Player immediately after the football passes the Goal or Behind Line but before the field Umpire signals ‘All Clear’ or ‘Touched All Clear’, the following shall apply: (a) Where the Player is in attack the field Umpire shall signal ‘All Clear’ or ‘Touched All Clear’, after which the goal Umpire shall signal and record the score. The Free Kick shall then be taken where the infringement occurred, or the position at which the football is brought back into play, whichever is the greater penalty against the offending Team.

Tl;dr version: “I hate Lynch”

Richmond have had the worst time with the umpires of any club in the last year- that's on record,fact- it's one club you can't play an umpire card on. Focus on the performances of the players/coaches.
This game they got a very nice ride from the umpiring dept

And how many times did we kick it to him, and how many times did we score from that situation, ie how many times did he compete for balls in the air. It's ag team game.

Well done tigers, showed more heart than our pea-hearted spuds. Shame the umps played a big role in messing up the game
First sentence is bang on. Second is just silly.

Port were messed up by a terrible coach who has taken this team backwards season after season. You and your fellow supporters deserve so much better than this trash.

LMAO. What sort of comeback is that?

Was "Tiger Tom" really that good and deserving of the praise afterwards?

It was the laziest six goals I have ever seen. Let's face it... He got lucky.
At least 4 of his goals weren't the result of his good play.

But I get that he's the superstar recruit on a million bucks a year so the media and Tigers fans will fawn over every little thing he does

Disclaimer: I don't mind the Tiges and I like Lynch... Good player. I bloody wish we had him (but I'm not salty he signed with Richmond)

If that’s the case then, there are numerous free kicks not paid for when a player infringes on the player shepherding on the line.

Another inconsistent rule interpretation by umpires

You just straight up infringe at every contest. That is why you are penalised.
