Franklin is by far the most over publicised player in the league. The last 12 months has gone next level. Then to top it off he was made AA captain last year. Shouldn't have even been near the team let alone captain.

You can count the number of good games he's had on your fingers, Barrass can hold him down quite easily. When we played Collingwood even Sheppard spoiled his marking attempts on a number of occasions, and he's 186cm.

The only scenario that he's useful in is when the midfielders give him a long, high kick into the space in front. Once there's a defender on him or the ball hits the ground he is useless.
