Richo role time

Giving how good his field kicking and contested marking is how good would it be Jack hitting Lynch on the tit lace out 5-6 times a game.

Further up the ground that is. A benefit of Jack being out is we have got to learn a bit about Lynch, and at 200cms and not afraid to throw his weight around (and seems a steady kick at goal), I think we should use this guy as the main bull in the forward 50.
I can see Jack being our exit kick up the ground and our main focal point in the middle of the ground. Best bit is, Jack is that selfless, he would be prepared to do it. It could potentially make us even more quicker moving the ball across the and through the ground. Good luck finding a guy who can go with Jack up the ground for 4 quarters.
Thoughts?
Concur , focal point rebounding out of 50 and on transition jack could play that role well . Should be given a license like Richo

Agree. i think we will see it too. At least I hope so.
I think for the first two rounds they played Jack and Tom next to each other because Lunch was a bit underdone.
Hopefully when Jack comes back, he is sent to half forward or maybe even a Richo the wingman role?

The pace and energy we have in the forward line with one big bloke was clear for all to see on Saturday. And Lynch is the future, so let’s get it rolling. Jack also fills a need up the ground. And let’s face it, his footy smarts are some of the best in the league. When he’s near it, something happens.

Sent from my iPad using righteous Bhodi manpower

Free range Jack. I think him and Lynch will have the licence to go wherever they want. Similar to how our backman make up their own matchups.
Everywhere except to the same contest I suspect.

Would like to see Lynchy, mainly as the deep forward. Yet we could probably switch it up during the game to confuse the opposition. As both players are more than capable of causing chaos .With the unpredictability of who's playing where, we could become even harder to play against. Need to keep the guys in the midfield hungry with pressure from the kids coming through, so the guys up front have a good supply of ball coming in.

Inside 50 - why not both! I like Tom hitting up and Jack taking the speccie, personally.

Once everyone is up and running at 100% I expect a combination of Lynch/Riewoldt and Martin/Caddy to spend time deep forward and rotate accordingly. Nightmare for opposition defenders.

When Jack took marks on the wing and half forward in 2018 he looked up and had Cadds, George, Butters, Rioli and Snags as targets and the opposition towards the end of the year clued onto this and sat back and is a reason our scoring dropped away despite having a million entries a game.

Nooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww when Jack does this he will have Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnncccccccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhh to kick too as well as Cadds and then the smalls ready to feast on the crumbs.

Best thing about this is, Lunch hasn't even found his one grab groove yet.

Lynch is almost unstoppable out of the goal square. Too big and strong and a clean mark.

Riewoldt makes sense playing a roaming CHF role, has the skillset to do it and it will free him up to show all his abilities rather than just his forward craft.
