I think you're right to a certain extent about them craving attention but I don't think they are prepared for the shit storm that comes their way when they are named and shamed. Obviously it wasn't the type of attention he wanted or he wouldn't have deleted his facebook.

Exactly right. I don't know what world some of you guys live in but I come across plenty of people who are openly racist to varying extents. It's not something you can just call out and end overnight. Footy can do its bit within its own bubble but it can't change the world.

Yep you don’t have to look far to find one, I’m sure every single one of us could point to a racist in their own family. They might not be stupid enough to expose themselves to the world like this peanut but that doesn’t make them any less racist.

This person's membership has been suspended indefinitely and all of their membership rights have been revoked. The Club considers racial vilification to be abhorrent and disgusting, and racism has no place in our society.

Our organisation has zero tolerance to this type of behaviour and will continue to work with industry stakeholders and community leaders to raise awareness and offer appropriate education.

Last season I purchased tickets for friends to go to the SCG to see the crows play. I am now listed as a crows member & can not be removed from their data base. I might contact the AFL??
