That has been my argument all along = the cost of keeping him is potentially more than sacking him.

Do you accept that we have been one of the benchmark teams for the last 7 years?
Would you countenance the idea that it was Clarko who engineered the chip-chip game plan?
Would you countenance the idea that other teams have copied Clarko's chip-chip game plan because it worked so well against a good team like we were?
Would you countenance the idea that it wasn't Horse who invented the chip-chip game plan?
Would you countenance the idea that contrary to popular belief, Horse has merely adopted the latest trend of the game?
Would you countenance the idea that EVERY team plays the chip-chip game?
Would you countenance the idea that we are one of the teams that suck at the chip-chip game?
Would you countenance the idea that we are crap at the chip-chip game because our skills are poor?

Or is it just, Horse coaches the flair out of players and that's why we are so bad?

All the other sides at least try and score, we dead set don't even try. I'd rather lose trying to score rather than not. All defence, but nothing to do with getting forward.
