I've booed opposition players and umpires. And everytime I did, as an adult, I felt somewhat stupid. It's such an infantile thing.

Having said that, Robbo just said on AFL360 that he's "lost faith in humanity" because Ablett and Pendlebury were booed. Seriously. Last week in Sri Lanka, a group of people blew 300 innocent people and themselves to smithereens. And he lost faith in humanity because a couple of footballers got booed.

I've boo'd at sports games plenty of times and i dont ever feel foolish for it. Its theatre and its crowd interaction. This is nothing more than entertainment. boo all you want during a game what ever, even directly after a game but 10 minutes after a game when there is a medal presentation isnt a good look in my opinion, look at the camera shot of the essendon supporters in the shot when Pendles is speaking as well, yelling and pointing, and they are trying to say they weren't booing Pendles, absolute laugh.

I don't care if it was at pendlebury. I take it as a given that they were booing him, the result, the umpires, you know footy related stuff and that was an opportunity to do it by booing over the top of someone. I don't care about that. The ones lying and saying they weren't booing pendlebury or the result or the umpires would have to answer your question. All footy related booing is a non issue blown up by the media and those that think they are better than you or I.

I think it’s unfortunate that the booing happened during the ceremony, however, the EFC fans have every right to be upset with the garbage umpiring served up today.
Hocking it appears has been a diabolical appointment. The AFL needs to be sent a message. Maybe this is a catalyst. I don’t know of too many people walking around saying the game is in great nick at the moment.
