It's easy to look at these things in hindsight, but I think we made an error not trading either the Bowman or Bice pick for future selections.

It wouldn't shock me if our academy picks are something like 5, 15, 25 next year.

Dipping (deeply) into future picks to match bids will catch up with us eventually.

Will take a flag though for a couple of years of pain

Didn't do anything wrong as such, no big errors or anything, but there was nothing in that highlights package that screams first round draft pick.

Was thinking more or less the same. Does seem very calm and collected, doesn't panic which is good.

Does he lack half a yard of pace to be a real difference maker off half back at the top level though?

Agreed, mid to late 2nd round at this point, IMO

It's King and Chamberlain that are potential 1st round bids, depending in their trajectory throughout the year

Don't disagree, but I always let people know that this is not a highlights package. My videos include every interaction with the play good, bad or indifferent.

I don't follow the scouting and upcoming draft details extra closely and it's only one article, but I hadn't heard King mentioned as high as a potential top six pick before this.

Will be interested to see his form this this season along with Chamberlain and Carmichael.

All of the u16s and u18s game in summer series are usually posted on the above channel.

There is a streaming site, Adnico26Parker, think you had posted it before...

Champs games should be up on the afl site, they live stream those.

Yeah... King being rated so high is interesting based on previous form. Could definitely be anything however. Has a heap of potential.

Chamberlain should be late first at best.

Carmichael is a cake player. Does everything you want right and can lock down on a defender whilst providing rebound. Probably a second unless he gets more midfield time this year which he may

I think he is as talented as any player we have had come through the academy besides Heeney.

Agree. I recall 12 months ago Trainor and Armstrong were being touted as top 4 picks.
