You have to be kidding.I can't stand newcombe but I don't rekon that was on purpose
He looked straight at the player and took another three purposeful strides straight at him .
That was a classic take im out job .

EwI’ve got good news for you lot
I held the 2025 AFL cup today and I gave it as many good Docker Vibes as I could muster
Hopefully it’s pre energised and the boys can keep charging it up
Hey, ease up honey; I said that.I believe the full statement finishes
“… if the team just keeps winning”.
Not to be rude, but I do hope that the 2025 Cup is gently wiped down and made clean before our players touch it.I’ve got good news for you lot

Sorry I am old
‘‘Twas good clean energy, none of that yellars type stuffNot to be rude, but I do hope that the 2025 Cup is gently wiped down and made clean before our players touch it.
Who knows who else from whatever club fan bases have been "energising" that 2025 trophy with their "touches"...
Gross. I have a mind prone to double entendres so don’t mind meSorry I am old
What does Ew mean ?
Lets just hope Essendon get the job done against Geelong at GMHBA.
Yes, he’s gone for three.Anyone get the feeling Newcombe went the bump instead of the ball?
If he wore purple, absolutely. But he wears the poo and wee. Lucky to get a fine.Yes, he’s gone for three.

Fly presser a must watch.
Well if you have no faith the team can beat other finals teams like Lions or Dogs then I ask what is the point of making the 8 anyway if we are just going to scrape in on a 2 game losing streak.Yea I know but I’m now seriously thinking we miss out with 15 wins fmd
Wether it was a snipe or not, the replay clearly shows arms around both sides of Howe. Tackling with piss-poor technique isn't going to get anything, he'll be playing next week. You have to be kidding.

I read 'the run home' on Fox' website earlier this week and it said the scenario for us was to beat Port and then not lose by too much to Brisbane and Bulldogs.Did anyone else hear the commentator's say the Dogs will win the next 3 against the Dee's, Eagles and Dockers...Completely dismiss us.
I mean if you expect Brisbane and Bulldogs to be the favourites then it is a rational conclusion.I read 'the run home' on Fox' website earlier this week and it said the scenario for us was to beat Port and then not lose by too much to Brisbane and Bulldogs.
That was with them expecting Hawks to lose, so look forward to hearing all next week how we are the team to drop out, regardless of if we win or not this week.
Alex Pearce got off earlier in the season because it was a legitimate football act where he couldn't really do anything else other than completely not contest the ball (i.e. not play football). Newcombes fine.
Unless MC really is a unabashedly biased all things Collingwood as people say (which based on the complete non-sightings of Moore and Maynard a couple of weeks ago is a genuine possibility) then he may be in trouble.
Again - any links or actual examples?
Good point and hard to argue with that. I find his smug and superior attitude quite annoying. What's to like?

Hawks were the ones the media were down on, and now they've flipped the script by beating Collingwood easily.
We simply have to do 2 things, beat Port and then win at least one of the other two.
I'm not following your logic - if he's so Collingwood biased as you/Carlton fans say wouldn't he suspend Newcombe?Alex Pearce got off earlier in the season because it was a legitimate football act where he couldn't really do anything else other than completely not contest the ball (i.e. not play football). I thought they both went the ball.I'm not following your logic - if he's so Collingwood biased as you/Carlton fans say wouldn't he suspend Newcombe?
From my perspective they contested the ball, Howe got there fractionally earlier and Newcombe looked at him as they collided.
A) Newcombe didn't bump
B) I don't know what person wouldn't look at someone or something coming at them at speed once they realised they weren't quite going to get the ball
I also haven't rewatched enough angles but I'm assuming it was a head clash that knocked Howe out, unless anyone has something else they can show.
There doesn't have to be bias or conspiracy, pundits already have quite different views, and they're far more influenced by bias generally.
I think it was the head snap back into the turf, but could've been out beforehand. If so he had a double whammy.I'm not following your logic - if he's so Collingwood biased as you/Carlton fans say wouldn't he suspend Newcombe?
