Blues winning the draft game huh 😆 got a trophy? 😆 🤣 😂 😹
It's just funny. Due to being mainly shit over the last 20 years the Blues have received far better recruiting chips than the Pies, yet they seem to think they've used their recruiting chips better than a team that has been often top 4 during that time, won a couple of flags and played in a few other GFs and is top 4 whilst they're back to languishing down the bottom - without top kids to at least dream about.

Guys like Walshy spend more time watching kids and fantasising about the future than they ever do in the present

October is the biggest month for a Blues fan, peak dreaming time

It's astounding.

They'll happily laugh at the suggestion Collingwood contended in 2025, but the vitriol I've received over the last 2 years every time I suggest Carlton didn't contend in 2023 is like nothing seen before.
The two Dads Army teams (Collingwood & Geelong) were never going to win the flag this year and that was obvious to all except supporters of those two teams. Clearly Carlton never contended either

Is Carlton more likely to make a final next year or sack their coach before the conclusion of the season. Genuine question
Is Collingwood going to succumb to Pendles selfish request to top up again despite having no assets to do so and no cash to spend?

Geriatric Pendles knows he's only got another year in him and wants to put his own glory ahead of their long term list management plans.

Can you point to the evidence where pendles previously asked this.

Poor old Walshy. You really have no idea. Having guys the calibre of Pendles, Sidey and Howe playing for less combined than Cripps is why we have been able to add senior players and be a top 4 team and you guys had to dream of acquisitions like Fogarty and Acres getting you there.

Must be why you lot thought u were locks for the flag in May despite us Blues fans telling you the tired old legs would fade late in the season... Which is exactly what occurred

It's taken 20 years, but your plan has finally worked. Those Pendles voodoo dolls finally resulted in the first game of 420 that he couldn't finish due to a soft tissue injury. Magnificent work Blue baggers.

What a great year you guys had. You really turned it around. Who would have thought after the disgraceful effort in Rd 1 you'd rise to the glory of watching Brisbane beat Collingwood in a prelim. If you're lucky, you might see Pies lose some more finals over the next decade. Pretty much all you can hope for.

You guys could become relevant as a development team for the other good teams in the hope they can stop the Pies. It'll be smart to let Curnow go to the GC or Geeling to aid that.

Pies must think they aren't finals bound for next year - mason, go find some other options, don't think you'll be required next year..
Definitely time to freshen up the list Wormy, we're not going to keep up with the Qld teams by topping up anymore

Cox didn't do himself any favours by dropping that bloody chest mark

Still elite though, had a good finals series after playing a lot of VFL this year

My favourite part is you made an account in 2019 “walshisgoat” from that point onwards he has been on a downward spiral and fully Carltonised.

Yeah, wobbly wobbly old geriatric s*** stain Pies.

Will be irrelevant for another half dozen years after topping up too many times.

He has been on a downward spiral since his debut? Could have sworn he almost won the Brownlow in his 3rd year from memory...

Unfortunately crippled by injury since.

Like Curnow, if you can get Walsh's body right, you could send him to a good team to help them win a flag.

It's a shame what's become of Carlton and Essendon. Two once mighty clubs who can only now really dream of success by developing players who might win a flag at another club. It'll be exciting to find out whether Jagga Smith will win his flag at the Cats or the Pies.

Yawn.

Go crack open the lawn bowls set. Only thing your team will be doing for the next 10 years
