NIck Daicos will get his chance to explore the open market when his next contract is due (2027 ?), so what do you think he will ask for, and will Collingwood pony up ?
Why does he have to wait until his next contract is due?

Curnow didn't.

And do you think Daicos will hold Collingwood to ransom by saying 'such and such a club are offering me $20 million over 5 years, so I'm not staying at Collingwood for a cent less...'

Merry Christmas Blues and Pies folk.

Hopefully 2026 brings you every footy supporter’s dream… either a flag, or maybe getting to play Sydney in the Grand Final… which are basically the same thing now that I stop and think about it.

Really?

Curnow and TDK aren't amongst your 'best players'?

Where on your list would you have ranked them?

Because I had them amongst your top 6. As would all rational and logical observers.
Charlie was a couple of years ago yes.
He has slid big time for me. Wish him well but I’d be surprised to see him back to ‘his best’ form again. Time will tell.
TDK would be just in our top ten. Hasn’t been consistent enough.
Silvagni not close to our best.
Our best are still at the club.

There's some coping mechanism right there....
