But to answer you earnestly; the Australian electoral system is significantly different. We don't vote for leaders directly unlike the US system, and we have more than two parties. Albo led the party that won the majority of seats, so yes; he's "very clearly" the leader.

I mean my original post was I don't think what Trump is doing is a great idea and will lead to China taking Taiwan. Australia is a fairly evenly split society in terms of politics. I would argue it has gone from being centre right to more centre left. Yet the views on this board (sorry can't use sub) are 90% far left. Why do you think that is?

I like to say this very thing about Australians... anyone that introduces themselves "owning multiple properties" as some kind of win over others, when owning property in Australia requires the "least amount of brainpower", similarly to watching grass grow, is a sure way to admit you're dumbest campaigner in the room.
