It is pretty obvious that he can't physically dominate bigger players.

But what Daicos does have is a great inside game.

Daicos reads the ball off hands better than bigger players, and is able to get to the ball 1st at stoppage and clear the stoppage better than bigger players.

You have already confirmed that winning first possession and getting the clearance ain't what you want in an inside midfielder, so it makes sense why you don't rate Daicos.
