Been one of his biggest detractors, but C Mac right up thereGood little hit out. Ward easily best on.

I'd be happy with 'we may never lose to the Cats again'...Too early for ‘we may never lose again’??
I would say in terms of numbers half but a higher percentage of your backline is missing with those players out.Polkinghorne did some great things for us overhead but when Barrass Hardwick and Battle are there can he do half of that is still what we need to see.Heard the commentators say Cats missing half the side that played in the GF maybe 6-8 times …….. did not hear once that Hawks were missing half their backline!

Having said that more than happy that Mraz got a good opportunity but I would have liked to have seen Weds playing more in the middle of the ground during the first half. We had to play him down back given the outs. His move in the second half had a significant impact on the game, was roaming the ground without the shackles and he’s been training that way over summer. He is definitely our Mr Fix itAnd Ginni. To be fair they were missing more players, including probably half their backline too (if Blicavs plays there).
Battle, Barrass, Hardwick, Gunston, Day
vs
Holmes, Smith, Cameron, Danger, Mannagh, Stewart, Stengle, Humphries, Blicavs + Stanley and Martin
Mind you these are the games that you want to see guys like Mraz, Macdonald, etc. and the other backups / young talent get a chance.
