You can get Pilot playing next year in the same way Dougie will be this year. But I doubt Salopek would want to uproot his life when he's in Year 12 and come over to play for Maggies. It's a risk not worth taking from his point of view

I doubt Tassie will want players who have actively said ‘we have no interest in going to you’ publicly. It’s going to be hard enough for them without grabbing players who 100% have 1 foot out the door the second their name is called.
