I hope Tex was ok with that. He knows how his body is traveling best.
Except we’ve seen him constantly put his hand up when maybe he shouldn’t have.

Anyone heading down to Pleurisy Park thursday night might need to pack their thermals and Drizabones...

Severe thunderstorms, hail and snow to hit southeast Australia in nation’s ‘first real cold snap of the year’

Temperatures are forecast to plummet 12C below average in the year’s “first real cold snap”, with millions in southeast Australia bracing for thunderstorms and possible snow and hail.

A billow of cold, wet and windy weather is forecast to creep across Australia’s southeast in what is being called the year’s “first real cold snap”, with thunderstorms expected to bombard two major cities.
Meteorologists are expecting the mercury to drop up to 12C below average for some locations as a trough and a cold front moves through the southeast over Wednesday and Thursday.

Bureau of Meteorology senior meteorologist Ilana Cherny said Tasmania, Victoria and NSW will be hit with thunderstorms and the cold snap.
She explained this could result in thunderstorms and showers to the southeast.

“Following that there’s going to be some really cool weather, quite a cold outbreak for the southeast of the country,” Ms Cherny said.

“We are seeing some showers and storms particularly through Tasmania and Victoria Wednesday heading into Thursday.”

The cooler climate is set to linger across much of the nation’s southern states.

“We are seeing quite the cold snap,” Ms Cherny said.

“It’s the first real cold snap of the year where it will start to feel like Autumn has really come with some cool and chilly conditions.

“With that we’re seeing temperatures drop down to about 8-12C below average for this time of year.
Thunderstorms are possible through much of Victoria, eastern Tasmania, southern South Australia and southern NSW.

There is a chance of heavy falls, large hail and damaging winds battering central and eastern Victoria.

“That risk of thunderstorms really extends into much of New South Wales on Thursday,” Ms Cherny said.

Channel 7 reckon Tex not playing.
Was obvious 24 hours ago when Maley was announced as playing & Tex was on restricted training. ;)

Good call imo to manage him when not 100%.

they'd need two MRI's

hopefully it's just a general check-up MRI!!!
Or 5AA making shit up again... like Filthy wasn’t playing last week.

Most of their stories are made up.

Very disingenuous of the Advertiser to run with the headline of “dropped” when he’s clearly not being dropped but rested or managed.

Maybe it was the glazed eyes
It was the touch

Round 11 vs Hawks at Tassie Resty Resty
Round 12 Bye
Round 13 Vs Geelong at Home - Resty Resty
Round 14 vs Bulldogs at Marvel Resty Resty
Round 10 is May 16th. Round 15 is June 20th.
35 days :confusedv1:.

5 weeks is not a "resty resty". It's a Holiday. Seems extravagant to me.

There's fitness, and then there's Match Fitness. In 5 weeks I think Tex could lose some conditioning that you get from playing. After a 5-week break, he'd come back for the Round 15 Home game vs. Melbourne rusty and maybe more likely to do a hammy (there have been several Competition-wide so far) trying to adjust to the speed of the game under the new rules.
