Finn o' Sullivan is the one we should go after. Liked him in his draft year but we didn't have the picks as we needed them for tb. I'd throw our picks at either of hump or FOS. We have two high end talent midfielders in Day and Mackenzie who unfortunately miss a lot of important game where we need all the midfield talent we can get. Obviously they are and have been extremely unlucky but we can't go through this trade period without adding in another A grader.
Lol dude cmon. No chance. Young stars like that don’t cross to other teams in the same town.

Go home factor is really the only chance for an interstate young player, otherwise you’re waiting on the slightest of chances they’re willing to look around come free agency.

Neither of these two scare me.

Freo have plenty of good players, but they play a defensive gamestyle to make up for their bang average defence.
It just isn't in their DNA to capitalise on momentum.

EDIT: Treacy is a ****ing GUN though.
Best mark in the game now along with Gawn.

I knew they’d lost the plot when they hired Malthouse. Great coach who by that stage was about as fresh as a dog biscuit.
Same deal with Pagan a few years earlier.

The reality is no coach no matter how fresh or heralded are able to pull anything off there. The club has too many powerbrokers, too many invested dinosaurs who are stuck 30 years ago yet have incredible influence over that club. Same with Essendon.

Until these clubs are willing to be done with the coteries and other interest groups and figureheads, they’ll be stuck spinning wheels.

The clubs that have good people at the top, a footy department and coach who are aligned and given the power to do what they feel is right for the club are the ones who do well in this business.

Runs around like a headless chook a lot of the time.

True, but I think that has more to do with North's general shitness. He will be a very damaging player once (if?) North develop into a decent side. He's very quick and has is a quality kick, so the way he plays suits the way the game is trending.

They are the definition of dinosaurs. The structure so successful in the past cannot be shaken

I'd love a FOS or Wardlaw. Both tough as nails, know how to find the footy and tackle as well as anyone in the league.

Let's hope Wardlaw can get a good run at it as he deserves to really show his class and courage. Very much a Luke Hodge type to me. Love him.

3 of the ‘big 4’ current in the cellar. Had Lynch kicked as per his pay grade neither Carlton or Essenscum have won a game this year. Richmond I’ll excuse becaue they have the membership, finances and recent success and are presently rebuilding nicely. I am sick to death of the two clubs who haven’t been relevant since the Clinton presidency claiming they are ‘big Melbourne clubs’. Facts are facts - your rusted on hoards of delusional, knuckle dragging supporters who light up SEN switchboards don’t make you big clubs.

Your prior success - the lions share of which happened before colour television was invented doesn’t make you a big club. Your dimwitted coteries who keep you anchored to mediocrity (at best) don’t make you a big club. The world has changed and I’ll be damned if these neauveau-minnow clubs are going to relegate us to second tier status when our success over the last 60+ years, our membership base, our financial status and overall stability post-96 have us as one of the most powerful clubs in the league. There is a ‘big 5’ in modern footy - but it’s West Coast, Collingwood, Geelong, Richmond along with us. Honestly there’s nothing better than seeing these pathetic old boy backed entities mired in misery - eat every bag of dicks you can muster (and have your president post on Twitter and then blame his wife’s mental health like the putrid coward he is).
Can't wait to read what you really think, Ned!:D

I was wondering whether Worpel would get a game in that Cats side and sure enough, wasn't picked with week. Wonder if they'll wheel him out for Easter Monday?
Playing right now against Werribee.

No reason other than form. He came back from a broken finger last week.

Having said that, they’ve dropped Jye Clark from last week’s midfield and Dangerfield is obviously still out.

Worpel just isn’t good enough at the moment to break into their best 23.

We just need to stay calm and let Karma finish the job.

Who remembers the "cooking something special" campaign of about 15 years ago? Did we ever find out if they were cooking anything other than the books?
Vague recall it was after they picked up Judd and it was "can you smell what we are cooking?"
its now obvious the answer is "the players" as they are now cooked.

I'm big on the Tigers, as I've mentioned before - but this is the worst I've seen them play since the rebuild began.

They're being comprehensively beaten by a poor side. That's a real worry.

Not sure why Close would be selected, did bugger all last week in the 2s. Bowes would be their only in from watching last week. Clark has more upside IMO and should be getting more Gametime to prove it.
