Reality is Emmett and Davidson are clear outs.

Smith should be one in with Baker of he steps up the other.

Dolan had a stinker but plays a role we need and has looked ok othrwise sp should stay in.

Othetwise injuries and availabilities dictate the rest

Davidson was no worse than Dolan and Gallagher and we simply don't have the troops to play his role. He's not a "clear out" for me. Baker and Hynes are literally our only VFL players who play a vague midfield/forward role playing in our VFL.

In: Budarick, Treloar, Croft, Baker. Jacques and then Gallagher if Budarick/Treloar are not fit
Out: Vandermeer, Dolan, Emmett, Gallagher.

Yeah Davidson was very quiet offensively again, 5 tackles and good defensive running may save him, as well as a lack of available options, but Baker may get the call up with a decent VFL game tomorrow.

Emmett has to come out, just not ready yet and pray Croft is ready to step back in for him.

Dolan is my boy but he made some costly errors, Bevo will hate him not bringing the ball to ground twice and butchered a couple touches again.

The VDM injury hurts, we are really running thin on forward options, might have swing Bramble forward again. McNeil is a chance to get suspended also.

Pray Bont doesn't need a rest. Maybe Jaques for some wing time if we drop Davidson and Baker to half forward.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s carrying some sort of niggle as well. He did a lot of inside grunt work last night

Id prefer to give more contested responsibility to Fridge and Sanders. I'd love to find a way to get more pace into the centre so would experiment there

Can Kennedy play as a medium forward, maybe provide some blocks for Naughton? To his credit, McNeil last night at least attempted a block for one of Naughton's early marks, slowed the defender by half a step, which doesn't hurt. Kennedy has a better physique for that task.

Leaves Richards, Bont(?), Sanders and Freijah () as primary mids. Maybe rotate Gallagher onto Zak B to tell him a few jokes to distract him... "Hey Zak, did you hear the one about the Port player taking out a lease on a mansion in Willi?!"

Why wouldn't you simply play Smith and have English rest up forward until Lobb comes back. Better players in all positions?

You obviously haven’t been watching Port lately if you’re expecting us to “put the sword” to them. Sure it’s a first winnable game in a while but Port are playing decent footy.

I do not think any of Dolan, Davidson or Emmett deserve a game, then VDM injured and maybe McNeill on report. Budarick if fit, Jacques, Croft, Hynes but other Budarick no real improvement.
