It's seems the only way we get to rest players to freshen them up. We know the brains trust won't have any plans to do that!
Q: How does an Adelaide player avoid being suspended?
A: Move to Collingwood.

(Well it worked for Frampton...)

(FWIW I think Frampton actually had a pretty good case. It looked to me like Brody ducked into the tackle and then tried to lift his torso. This forced Frampton off balance, actually being lifted off the ground at one point, and from there he had no chance of not falling on top of him.)

HHK for Laird. In one game, he showed better foot skills, awareness and dash than the stat pad has this season.

Yes but HHK himself said that he played on instinct ...... just wait until the coaches unleash their development program into his head...

Hopefully playing at Marvel instead of a wet AO or KY Park in Tassie gives Turray a better look. He needs to be the one crashing packs instead of Filthy

They both do. It's also one of those things that you know a key forward is feeling confident if they're throwing themselves at packs.

If he's any good, it won't make a difference, outside of developing some chemistry with the other players". The development program" is just another excuse for flawed players being found out at this level. After all, there is no hiding in a form slump.

Time to sack our recruiters for all the flawed players they draft then

Yes but surely wont again

Surely it comes down to whether TT can go back to being the back-up ruck. If he does, it’s easy, young Muz is out. If he doesn’t, then it gets interesting and 4 talls is a genuine chance.

You know how if you only have one pen you never lose it?

But if you have heaps of pens you lose them all the time and soon have zero.

It feels like that with our tall forwards and key defenders.

Who will we pick when they're all available? Round 14 and we're still wondering. We've got heaps and we're churning through them like excess pens. They're in and out with injuries/suspension the whole time

We've had the Butts, Murray, Borlase and Keane quartet at our club for the best part of four seasons now and we still don't know what our best KPD mix is. They're almost never all available simultaneously.

McAndrew vs English bodes as a pivotal battle in this one. When English isn't playing that Dogs team looks so much less dangerous.

Last time they met it was a relatively even battle statistically. Perhaps the slight edge to McAndrew, but the dogs got the chocolates away.

FWIW I think McAndrew has built his game since then, and the dry hard deck should suit his high leaping style.

Gonna be a ding-dong battle and im here for it

Thilthorpe will have to go back to being back up ruck. Agree. I would much prefer a Dowling or Edwards to young Murray as the 5th bench spot.

And Borlase has played so much, he has improved a lot and is pushing to almost into genuine defender contention.... almost.

I think we were very settled on Keane, Murray and Woz last year. Even to the extent that we played Murray when out of form despite Butts having been comfortably better performed than Murray.
