Playing second ruck and showing speed, he has some Joe Daniher about him, too. Daniher was pants last year (for a variety of reasons), but the year before was all superstar-y. I really like McKay as deep-forward and relief ruck.

I really enjoy watching Harry burn past Tom Langdon is a race for a loose ball on Monday. I like Langdon, he's a good player, good interceptor, seems a good egg all round. But what must he have been thinking when a unit 15cm taller and 10kg+ heavier than him ran the f*&^ past him? "Good god, I hope I don't get isolated on this guy again today".
Yeh agreed. Harry is an athletic freak in his own right.

He doesn't have the lateral movement, agility nor evasiveness of Charlie - but his top speed and straight line movement is elite. His co-ordination is rare for his size too.

It's actually good to have a 6'7" tall forward who has a lot of pace and agility about him and is a decent size too!

Harry has a load of agility for someone who is that tall. Charlie is just an absolute freak!

I trust everyone saw that Harry's contested marks over the first 3 weeks is the most anyone has taken since they started recording the stat? Better than Richo in his prime, or anything Pavlich or Jono Brown or whoever ever did.

Sure, it's only one aspect of the game, but nice to see Harry has a legit weapon. McKay is not something Blues fans need to worry about, he's something 17 other clubs' fans need to worry about.

I wouldn't have picked McKay to have become so dominant in the air so quickly.

Even last year he was muscled out of position much too easily, but he's core strength seems to have been developed exponentially.
Hands are vice-like already. Looks likely to become a very serious player, sooner than later.

Cmon Harry, we need you to lift ole son. You looked a bit lost out there today and couldn’t get much involvement if at all. Please start to show a bit of urgency in your play, you just don’t seem too interested

Drunken 2am post eh?

Otten toweled Harry. Oh well. It happens. Otten is playing for his career right now and was always going to go out and put in 120%.

Gotta remember it's only Harry's 2nd proper season. He's allowed to have an off game. Only had 1 or 2 of those so far the entire year. Harry has also been the only big tall in the forward line with Curnow out.

What happened to his ball drop this year? He come in slotting them from the boundary looking like he couldn't miss and now he keeps spraying them from directly in front.

Kicked 21.11 last year, 25.29 this year.

Definitely think the groin injury is seriously affecting his kicking. Getting no power at all, you notice that a lot of his set shots are dropping short. Was kicking very well earlier in the season, think he'll be right in 2020.

Guess it's just a matter of fitness/tank as to why he even engages in wrestles rather than just run rings around his opponents. He is genuinely awesome to watch when he's moving full tilt. Like an express train.

H could be one of the best forwards in the game in a couple of years.

But he desperately needs to fix his kicking for goal - looks very rushed and without any set routine.

That needs to be a huge focus of his over the coming preseason, as well as obviously continuing to strengthen and grow into his frame.

Purely a confidence thing with Harry's set shots.
For somone his size he is as natural a kick as you will see. Got no doubt it will turn around, and likely in a rush.

I was always concerned about his kicking for goal, struggled with it in the VFL before he played seniors, was actually surprised he was kicking so well when he first came in and unfortunately he has reverted to what he was doing in the 2s. A big concern going forward and one that we need to fix in the off season pronto or we will have another Levi on our hands, need to get Sav to work with him as a priority this off season, we can’t just leave it and hope it improves or he will lose all confidence in his goal kicking and that will bleed into other parts of his game. Big worry for me.

Watch his junior tape before you comment on his general trends.

It's weird, i went to footywire to compare Ben with Harry, Ben listed as 201cm/95kg, Harry as 205cm/99kg, and i thought they were identical twins, i wouldn't have thought there was that much difference between them personally, despite being a season behind, and playing as a defender rather than a forward, stat's don't measure up too badly so far.

That is strange.

I reckon the clubs are playing shenanigans.
