3rd on the WC goal kicking tally and keeping Hams + Strijk out of the team. Couldn't have picked it.

Great year by Nico and congrats on the 100th. :thumbsu:

Exactly why we drafted Jacob Brennan via the father son rule after Michael played 179 games.
Didn't need the extra 79 for the Eagles, not sure of your point.

On topic, and as his sponsor

Had a great year so far. Goals have been great, but defensive pressure and pace have been better...

Onya Nico! Been pleasantly surprised with this season, and thanks for not playing down back any more!

Grats to Nico and well done to him for getting to where he is now.
Was a bit heartbreaking watching him congratulate everyone in 06 while he had his shoulder in a sling.

Congrats to Nico. Like most punters have said i didnt expect him to get there either. His done it the hard way thats for sure. His career has been recharged with a move forward and i reckon theres a big job in line for him in his 100th - play him as a defensive forward on Yarran :thumbsu:

Hopefully he is one of those blokes that play well in there milestone games, shut Yarran down and kick a couple of pure crumming goals himself would go along way to getting us over the line.

Yep, congrats to Nico, may it be one to remember. :thumbsu: Unfortunately not many Eagles milestones' games are. :(

Good on him. This was a make or break year and he's giving it a real shake.

I can remember when this guy was one of our most exciting youngsters, his career was derailed by injury time and time again, if he can actually enjoy a quality peak in his career he could be a very handy player.

Nico has always had the talent and required athletic abilities. He was one of my favorites before his horror injury run began. I never realized, though, that he'd had 4 shoulder surgeries.
There's a really good article on it all, and his thoughts on the club and his place in it, in The West today, so check it out. It's a good read.

Agree, great read!

Congrats to Nico. Has provided a few on here with a target to be angry at.

I hope the team plays with the same guts on Sunday as Nico has to get to this milestone.

Congrat's Nico for getting back into regular games.
I think I am the reason for this turnaround in fortunes and consistant games, Heres why:
Last year I was at the footy in my mates Corporate box and it was while Nico was injured. He was in the same row as us taking notes on the game so everytime I had to get a drink I had to walk past him. Early in the game it was just a bit of " How you goin, when do you reckon you'll be back ", that sort of thing if I said anything at all. As the match wore on and the drinks flowed let's just say I would have probably come of as annoying.
I reckon Nico vowed after that game to do everything possible to get back in the team and stay so he wouldn't have to put up with annoying, inebriatted fans on gameday :D :o
