Post wont be our next Richo, he will be our version of Glen Jakovich. Beating the best key forwards in the game week after week. By all means give him #12, I have faith he will live up to the number, but dont try to make him into something he is not.

If you want to give it to a forward, give it to Riewoldt. None of us give this kid the kudos he deserves. He has just turned 21, he had played 50 games, and is averaging about 7 marks a game, many of them contested. He is confident, courageous, a good leader and probably the most worthy of the number at this stage. Interesting that Hardwick has noted that he has seen no problems with Riewoldt's goal kicking, just that he needs to settle and develop a routine and a consistent technique. If he does that, he will be a 50+ goal a year high CHF and could well be as important to us as cousin Nick is to the saints.

My initial thought was we hand the No.12 over to Posty, but after some thought perhaps a better decision can be made after the 2010 season and an opportunity to see how all the kids play under Dimma.

So, I reckon just retire it for a year.

If not hold it of for a year and then give it to either a kid or Post, Foley, Collins or Connors (if he proves himself). Someone with a high number who is worthy of a lower one.
